Ok What really Happened at BC?

Post by Hockeyguy_27 »

I just heard about this debacle and was wondering if it true. Apparently there was something going on between a coach and a player? If my daughter were at BC, I'd flip out if this were the case.

If I'm wrong about this, which I might be, sorry.

But if I'm right, I can't imagine that the media didn't pounce on this story. It seems to be a little more newsworthy than Gopher hockey players drinking Long Island Teas :o

USCHO.com - Bottom line, IMHO, time to move forward.

Katey King has taken the helm of this school and I fully expect Katey to create a higher level of expectation and moral judgment. Knowing Katey personally I can assure you had she been aware of what was going on it would have been handled and taken care of as soon as she was aware. This program remains strong an intact with her leadership, and anyone that thinks other is short sighted. Working with Katey to advance student atheletes has always been and will remain a wonderful experience. She is top of the line when it comes to integrety and dedication. Let the other mistake die and watch this program continue to grow. People make mistakes as well in life. I think the price has been paid by all involved.

Why would you flip out?

Both people involved were adults and very capable of making their own decisions, and it would appear that the relationship (whatever it was) was consensual. It's not like the coach was going around raping random innocent girls.

There was no "relationship" or other untoward activity, other than a lack of common sense and some text messaging.

Geez! I guess some things you just don't talk about. Thanks for the link by the way.

If you can't understand why a father would "flip out" under these circumstances, I'm guessing you don't have a daughter :P

Glad to see Katie King is in charge of the BC program now.
