Where is Reider going??

Post by gopher5 »

I was just wondering if anybody knows where (or if) Reider Jensen will be playing next year. I've heard rumors that he wants to play juniors but I don't know if any of these are true.

He has been offered a tryout by two different USHL teams. I am not sure which two.

best of luck to him, landing a spot on a USHL team withtout being drafted or tendered is extremely tough. I could see him landing in the NAHL this year possibly

Reider is a good player that can definitely be successful at NAHL, to step in and make a good USHL team is very dificult for a goalie. Best of luck next year wherever he lands. He will eventually make USHL , a year at NAHL is great experience for anyone.

Football season is coming up, maybe "Running Bare" can get a full time gig as the halftime show.

I saw him at the Southern MN Express open camp. Anybody know if he was offered an invite to the main camp?
Don't sweat the small stuff.
It's all small stuff.

Express tryout

Post by goaler »

Jensen did not get an invite to the Express tryout. He tried out in the oopen session along with 12 other goalies.

Only one goalie from the open tryouts got a call back to the invites -- Landon Snider from Brainerd.

I saw him in the invites. He did not look quite as sharp as he did in the opens. I don't know what the Express' final decision on him will be but he looked as good as some of the draftees the Express had there. My guess is he will go to camp for them, but I don't know for sure.

The Express drafted Pederson from Team Illinois U18 and he is a very big and solid goalie with flashy moves. I can't really see him being replaced.
