The tourny is July 20-22. Not sure of the teams yet. Hermantown, & Hibbing played last year and I think they are returning. Two of the Jacks goalies ( Baker & Dunaisky ) are out with injuries.barnorthhockeyguy wrote:Anyone know which teams are in the Lumberjacks summer tournament ?

I don't think this Dunaisky kid would have been playing anyway, from what I have seen.quickgym guy wrote:The tourny is July 20-22. Not sure of the teams yet. I could be wrong, but I thought that he was favored to back-up Baker and most of these Summer tournaments teams give equal playing time to their goalies.MNHockeyFan1 wrote:I don't think this Dunaisky kid would have been playing anyway, from what I have seen.quickgym guy wrote:The tourny is July 20-22. Your probably right. But I think there is a goalie I'm not sure of his first name but his last name is Thompson, that is pretty good. From stats that I have looked at, Thompson had a lot more playing time in the regular season. Where did you hear that dunaisky was the favored back up?7A22A wrote:I could be wrong, but I thought that he was favored to back-up Baker and most of these Summer tournaments teams give equal playing time to their goalies.MNHockeyFan1 wrote:I don't think this Dunaisky kid would have been playing anyway, from what I have seen.quickgym guy wrote: The tourny is July 20-22. Eagan beat Buffalo in a shootout after a 0-0 tie and Beat Hibbing 4-0...Buffalo Beat Cloquet in a shootout after a 3-3- game...Buffalo scored with 6 seconds remaining to tie it..BSM won easily again..BSM, Eagan Cloquet and Buffalo seem to be tournaments best teams..HShockeywatcher wrote:Anyone know why you'd have a tournament not a bracket?

It's summer hockey! As long as I remember these games are just scrimmages. Lines are normally rolled regardless of situations and many kids that will not see any varsity ice get to play.HShockeywatcher wrote:That doesn't really answer my question. It could possibly come out with a few teams at 2-1, or something like that. Then who won?

He played solid in the one game I saw him... In the same game Joe Krause from Hermantown was in the penalty box and tried to get out & go into the stands after a heckling fan.boblee wrote:He has moved to hermantown and will play with them next year. Did he get out or was he held back? What the heck was the fan saying to make him pop?
Did he get a longer sentence because of this?

Geez HSHockeywatcher...here were the final standings: (best I can remember)HShockeywatcher wrote:Well there ya go. An answer at last.
