Personally, I don't believe you the way it is.

(cant never tried)
lets get one thing straight on here. i am a mostly A student, have a perfectly clean record, tested in the top 99 percentile of the nation academically, and i never party or anything. bottom line, i am a good kid. and like i said before, it was a long story. that girl i was going out with for a year and didnt want to admit to myself that she was turning into a bad kid (because of her new friends) since we have been going out for so long. and the blade WAS NOT MINE. i brought no weapons because i didnt think i needed to. they brought it. im glad they did because it saved my life. so i it doesnt matter what you say. it wont change the fact that i am a good kid, with good grades, and a clean record.
also LIKE I SAID BEFORE, dont judge things before you know the whole story. you have got the wrong impression of me because of rumors.

My only question to you is why you felt the need to share your life story with everyone. A simple I couldn't play last year because I was injured would have cleared up everything. It kind of makes it seem like you're doing something more than just trying to tell everyone why you made the move to Rapids.

i dont get it gopher. i only said the story because there is also rumors going around that i stabbed someone from my brother, he told people. and then it escalates from there. one that i heard was "i heard you killed a guy with a knife because of your gf and now your living in a group home?". my main point was to clear things up. i didnt want to tell anyone about that deal but my brother was being a dumb.. uh.. idiot. so i had to tell people the real truth so they dont think im such a bad kid. thats all.
(Cant never tried) i didnt say it was a rumor, im saying you dont know the whole story. what i said up top was probably a 20th of the real thing. and i get really mean with sports, but as long as you show me respect, ill be pretty nice.
also, when are tryouts?

crUSH, I commend you and wish you the best of luck!! I think even though some people think that High School Hockey is important, some people forget that you are just kids! What you went through had to be pure Hell, and I hope that some day people will realize that. These forums are just peoples opinions, and if all you want to do is play Hockey then live your dream. It doesn't matter what your past is and people from Rapids should understand that. If not then we are no better then then the kids that brought that Knife to a fight.
I wish you the best of luck and look forward to watching you in Orange and Black this winter.

"Respect" in Rapids is different than "Respect" in the hood. In Rapids it isn't given. Its earned. You've done squat to earn anything. Do your self a HUGE favor, and drop the "Respect" crap, and using a z as an s on anything "Skullz". Try to fit in with blue collar folk who are kind and accepting to almost a fault.CrUshTheySkullZ wrote:thank you! everyone in GR is doing a pretty good job of accepting me, so thank you to everyone that has respect!
How big is big anyways? From what I've heard you're 15 or 16 and stand around 6'1" 200. Is that accurate? If so, don't consider yourself huge. One other word of advice(not that you want it)listen a little to Neutron, he has a valid point about the Blue Collar Community in which you now reside. Most in this town are old school and the new age hip hop b.s. doesn't fly or sit well with the locals. We're all for progress, and change is inevitable, but low key is a better way to roll. If you've got it, let it show on the ice, otherwise, you won't be receiving anything resembling respect at this forum, or in this town. As I said before, good luck to you.CrUshTheySkullZ wrote:i wasnt the one to start this. and i get enough because im so big. doesnt really matter to me.
stop making assumptions.

one thing about respect, is that its universal. and i had to put the z in there because with the S it was taken.
obviously none of you have met me. i am the nicest kid around (A TON nicer than 98% of the people in here. so your point does not stand very strong), only if you are nice to me. if any of you have met me and got to know me AT ALL you would realize what type of person i am. i am very nice and i grew up in hermantown. thats more blue collar than GR.
i hate to repeat myself...
DONT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS.

if any of you see me in the halls or something or at the rink come and say hi, but dont let me know you were in this forum. you will see the true side of me there.
also, i am 6 foot 1, and 225-230 lbs. so im not huge, but i am big.
when all of you say that this is a nice community i dont believe you anymore. your completely unaccepting. your accusing. your untrusting. you are a small town where everyone assumes the worst. people are nice to me in most places because i am easy to get along with, but not the people in here. this is humiliating for a first impression of grand rapids. good job. im sick of trying to make you guys think i am a good person in here. i am, but you have shown me nothing to prove what YOUR saying is legit. completely hypocritical. im done.

Exactly! This is just another one of life's lessons. Regardless of how and whatever happened, choosing the right words - if a response is even warranted - is critical.
Good luck young man.
