Stanley Cup

The Ducks win the Stanley Cup.
I do not believe the Ducks deserved the cup. They are a dirty team and run around taking cheapshots. Especially Pronger! What do you think?

Big, strong, physical, and fast. They have two of the best D-men in hockey and a better goalie. They won most of the battles for pucks along the boards. The better team won.

I do think Anaheim deserved to win. They had all the right leaders (Niedermayer bros, Selanne, Pronger, Marchant), with a great assortment of young guys (Perry, Pahlsson, Getzlaf, and McDonald). Ottawa was just inexperienced, and didn't have the leadership that Anaheim had. Their Heatley, Spezza, Alfredsson line couldn't work their magic. J.S. Giguere was a huge factor in net, and stopped a number of shots that had potential to be momentum-changing for Ottawa. Anaheim did what they had to do to win, and they definitely deserved it.

Other than game 2, Emery was brutal in goal letting in way too many softies.

I think you had better research this one a little. Andy McDonald has been around awhile. And how can you say Ottawa is inexperianced they are PROS they have all played at the highest levels to get to this point. Anaheim was to physical and Emery was to soft. The Ducks just pushed past the Sens D and muscled the puck to the net. Did you notice how the big line for Ottawa only had 1 guy breaking into the zone and got smothered by the ducks D and backchecker? No room to work the only time they were successful was when pronger was out they they were behind 3 times that game. Size and Skill tough to beat.
