Park of Cottage Grove names new coach

Jay Moser formar Park hockey player, and also former Gopher was name head coach of the program today

Any thought on how this will work out?

Is that the dude who transferred from St. Cloud State to the Gophers.

New coach...same results. A brutal program who sees their best kids opt to attend other schools. Add a new school to the District in a couple of years, and this program will only get worse. A tough baptism for being a fist time head coach. But then again, not much is expected, so not a bad situation to be in. either way, Park will not be a factor for a very long time.

They are also adding another sheet of ice in the communtity. Their youth hockey program suffers from lack of ice time and this will help much more than any single coaching change in the long run. Scheduled to open October 2008.

did the previous coach step down or get fired? also, lagoo going to continue to stay in the district or is he going to coach somewhere else?

im not positive on this but i believe lagoo stepped down, he wasn't going anywhere as the a.d. doesnt care about the boys programs
