The top teams will be Hibbing, I falls and marshall, and about the Va V.S. Eveleth matchup... if nico stays they will split the two games and if he leaves Eveleth will take em both for sure]]

the I Falls Broncos are going to be huge contenders. I honestly don't think Eveleth and Virginia will even factor into the equation, especially with Marshall in the picture now

nico needs to leave virginia and needs to learn how to play as a team. there are many good bantams coming up to play varsity in virginia. in 2009 virginia will go to state again.

If Hjelle leaves I'falls the section will be between Duluth Marshall and Hibbing, should be an exciting matchup

I think that Hibbing and Duluth Marshall should both have pretty good teams next year so they'll both be in contention for the 7A champinship. My sleeper for this section is I'Falls (Assuming that Youso and Hjelle stay). If they both stay 'Falls could be a dangerous team.....

7A next year

Did Hermantown go back to 2A? If not, 7A will be one of the best sections in the state.
I think Hibbing & Duluth Marshall will be the top teams. I-Falls & Greenway could be sleepers. Virginia probably won't be as good without Sacchetti, and lost a real good defenseman in Scott Kishel.
Eveleth is bringing up a good young team, but might not be able to compete this year.

I believe it will be hibbing and duluth marshall battling it out for the section championship.. i'm still disappointed that hibbing and hermantown won't be able to keep their rivalry alive another year

7A next year ?

I was back home last weekend and some folks in the Virginia area said that Nico Might! play juniors this year but they weren't positively sure. If he does go, i think half of Virginia's offense would be gone also.
I saw in the Star Trib yesterday, that he was drafted 50th overall by Dallas.
Virginia on the other hand, has Chris Weston, Brian Villa, Troy Grivette returning, so who knows.
I like the veteran coach in Keith Hendrickson, he could put something together.

Now that Sacchetti's player rights have been traded from Indiana to the Omaha Lancers, I'd say it is a pretty good bet that Nico will be playing full time in the USHL this next fall.

Saturday July 14th at 6pm @ Grand Rapids will likely be a DM vs Hibbing match up.
