Who are the Manitoba Wolves? Can they compete with the Chiefs, Feds, and Preds?

The Wolves were good. I watched them play the feds. The wolves just beat them up and got in their heads.

1994 Semi-Final Action:

Wisconsin AAA 3
Minnesota Icemen 1

Double ouch. Not so dominant anymore. Still better than the Blades/Titans/Blackhawks/Fire/Wayzata Pee-Wee (whoever their real team is).

dig

Post by watchdog »

ok i know its a childish dig but i was at the 95 division invite and the refs where so bias to the city teams that it was down right sick! well play the teams in winnipeg where we wont get homerd and see what happens. the machine will go down. it wont be long and they will have to come up with more teams in the cities because noone else is gona come down their to play. oh one last thing with all the hype and money the tournament genarates they could probley find refs that could at least skate too!

I saw quite a few games at the 95 level and thought the calls were unbiased.
I didnt see one game where the refs had anything to do with the final score and I didn't here anyone complaining about the reffing.
sounds like you are fishing for excuses to me.

really?????

Post by watchdog »

well did you watch the third place game blades and jr. islanders? five minute penalty for boarding??????? three goals on that and they missed a call that costed the islanders a goal just before that final score 5-2. sounds like that has alot to do with the outcome of the game. against the ice men islanders had 12 penalties to 2 for the ice man but islanders still won that game refs could only do so much the kids have to do the rest.

5 minutes, the ref must have thought there was intent to injure.
12-2 sounds like your team team should have made an adjustment
to how the game was being called.
I didn't see any of those games but based on the games I did see, I thought the refs did OK.
