Greetings from the Carroll Goalie School – A Minnesota Favorite Since 1995

CARROLL GOALIE DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS BEGINNING TO FILL

Some of our sessions are beginning to fill-up as goalies families continue to map out their off-season and pre-tryout development plans by registering for sessions that best fit their needs and vacation schedules.

We offer sessions in June, July, August, September and October at five convenient Minneapolis-St. Paul locations. As always. ice times are scheduled for evenings and weekends.

Online registration is available this year at www.carrollgs.com. Participants are encouraged to enroll early for best selection. I can you also send you a brochure if you prefer to register by mail. Just drop me an e-mail.

MINNESOTA GOALIES PLAYING IN THE WCHA

This past weekend, I worked as a goalie evaluator at the USA Hockey Girls National Development Program tryouts for 15, 16, 17/18-year-olds that took place at the SuperRink in Blaine, Minn.

Many Division I college coaches were in attendance scouting potential student/athletes. Between sessions, a college coach asked me if I knew how many Minnesota-born females are currently play goalie in the WCHA. I told him I wasn’t sure of the numbers but I would check.

The next day I returned with the information and shared it with the coach. I thought I would share the information with you as well. I also found the men’s information.

Basically the research shows that 13 out of 54 WCHA goalies are from Minnesota.
