Roseau will be much better than just an ok team next year and if they happen to match up I'll take the Rams.

why do you say roseau will be an ok team and you give them the option of a blowout where you say edina will be very solid and you dont give them the option of blowout? you made no sense

For this to happen Edina will need to worry about getting out of their section first. Then IF that happens, they'll need to worry about getting past the first round, as they couldn't do this year....

Thats such a stupid argument ya maybe edina does have to worry about getting past there section but they just got really unlucky this year and lost in the first round and the edina team is going to be a great team next year that 2nd line will be amazing and i think if that game did happen it would be a great game but edina would come out ahead

Why dont we argue this if the championship next year happens to pit Roseau against Edina?

Edina will be a great team next year, ya they lose reber but they also have that sexond line that consist of budish, everson, gaarder, regan and baker and than line will be one of the leading scoring lines in the state

Mike Lee on his 2006 Bantam A season happened to play the Edina Hornets twice, once in the Thief River Falls Championship game and the other in the State Semifinals. In Thief, Lee and his team lost 7-1. And at State, Lee and his Roseau boys lost 5-0. Out of the 12 goals Edina scored on Roseau that year, 11 were from the Budish, Everson, and Gaarder line.

Hence those guys own Lee.

Aaron Ness, Tyler Landman and company were already playing high school hockey. Tyler did come and cheer on the Roseau Bantam boys in Thief. Edina was good in Bantams but have they improved like Lee?

Rosea did not play that great of teams on there way to the state championship i think that the best team that they played was Hill Mury which went into consultation and lost to Woodbury. and yes they did beat Grand Rapids in the championship which had a good defense but Jensen is not a great goalie and very overrated

The only way to know how good Reidar is compared to your hornets would be if they played, but since they didn't. . . o wait they did and edina lost so shut your mouth and never post again.

Nice Bash brother your so tough you probably have no clue what your talking about Jensen is a overrated goalie that lost in the state championship 2 years in a row and also almost lost the game for Grand Rapids against Burnsville so if derrick would have played that game he would have done much better so why dont you just shut up and stop overrating a goalie that sucks

I hardly think he "sucks" I'd like to see anyone on this forum out do Jensen between the pipes. That being said, I thought he got what he deserved in the championship game after acting like a complete horse's ass when he taunted the Burnsville bench after the semi finals.

I don't mean that he sucks but he is really overrated, some people in the state think that he is just amazing i am saying is that Grand Rapids almost got out in the Semi Finals because of him. Jensen was saved by his team alot this year. and i agree he did get what he deserved in the championship getting dominated 2 years in a row

There's ignorance for you. Derrick, a team cannot win a state championship without outstanding goal tending. A team must have a hot goalie going into the play-offs in order to give them a chance to win. That is needed at every level, including pro. Burnsville's run is a great example of that.

Certainly, many could argue that Edina's goalie was saved by his team a lot this year.

Personally, I like to think both goalies are solid.

Edina fans are starting to sound like Moorhead fans. "We won as Bantams therefore...." We beat them as Bantams so we should.......".

Good golly! If Bantam hockey was what it is all about, there would be no need to play high school hockey.

Mr. Caschetta didn't get the opportunity to play in the AA title so i guess we just won't ever know. When Rapids played Edina, Rapids scored more times on Caschetta than Edina was able to score on Rapids so Caschetta didn't prove himself to be better than Jensen.

If you ask me, I think they are both overrated equally.
