BIAFP - you are correct again. Just got off the phone with Bill "Hannibal" Lechner and he directed me to the Pioneer website(nice by the way and includes rosters from all the previous Pioneer teams, which includes our favorite poster, Mr. Pierre). That official Hill-Murray website clearly states, "20 State Tournament appearances" and "2 State Titles".
Well Ankles, directly from your favorite alma mater's official records, your rantings are unsubstantiated yet again. Not even you can argue with that.
If AP happens to attend THE State Tourney this week he should pick up an OFFICIAL Program and see that the FACTS are clearly printed for his viewing pleasure. 2 STATE Titles
If only that were true... then maybe the Vikings would have had four GREATER Superbowls!
The Pioneers have always played in the GREATER tournaments which did not exclude teams based on race or religion!
To be GREATER than Hill, a team must beat the Pioneers in a State Tournament (prior to 1975, your tournament was no more than an invitational which Hill has attended most often since)!
If Catholics were like some of you bigots, we would have asked the little guy in the middle not to mess up this otherwise handsome picture:
Not to hard to make the tourney the most since '75 when your Diocese paid off the MSHSL to put them in the weakest section up until the current 3AA. Money=Power - just ask the Pope!
The Pioneers better not take their eyes off Century or they will not see the Rams in the semis.

For the FACTS regarding STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS refer to this years OFFICIAL tourney program or the MSHSL website. The rest is just some make believe pioneer tale. Just the Facts
Good luck with the MSHSL books... it only took them about 15 years to credit Hill-Murray with its share of the "MOST GOALS ONE PERIOD" record after its 1991 drubbing of Grand Rapids in the last-ever-real-one-class-give-a-championship-trophy-to-the-one-and-only-best-team State Tournament!
When Eveleth did it in 1945 the tournament was only an invitational which did not invite the Catholics! Nobody was wearing Mommy's figure skates in 1991 either!
What is with these nordern town names?! Eveleth, Roseau sound like they were named after Ankles' grandmothers!
BTW... Elliott is still AP's best FIEND, but AP's lapdog needs to spend some time in the kennel!
