Which Teams Are The Best Coached?

I have felt compelled to share my thoughts on a very special person and coach for sometime now and decided it was time to come forward. Not only is Tim Moe of the Crookton Pirates a winner on the ice he is a very lovable, kind, sensitive, and understanding person off the ice. These leadership qualities have helped him and the lady Pirates to excel both on and off the ice. As a teacher Tim expects his players to perform in the classroom and to respect fellow students, teachers & parents. On the ice and in the lockeroom the girls have bought into his program with the highest respect and give him 100% at all times. While alot of the girls dream of playing at the next level Tim is more realistic and is really preparing them for the big game of life. Thank you Mr. Tim Moe [/quote

golden You are a cancer to all of Crookston hockey. If you are in fact really from Crookston I am glad that you are now living down in the Cities. Like MaMa say's "If you do not have anything good to say do not say anything at all." Hopefully you can grow up and make some possitive /constructive posts about Crookston hockey. I will go sit in the corner. I'm sorry if I don't sugar coat everything for you. But these forums are for discussion, I was mearly pointing out the opinions of some current parents. I have no ill feelings towards Tim Moe, or the Crookston hockey program. It is cowardly to scold me and not even comment on what I have to say. If I struck a nerve good, that was the point, I was hoping for an intelligent rebuttal. In the future please stick to the topic and not make it personal, that is rude. You'll have to excuse hockeymom. I get the feeling that the adults in Crookston have been beaten down by certain players and no longer see reality clearly. The parents know their place and have gotten the message from the players: sit in the stands and cheer and praise me and don't dare question anything I do, regardless how childish.

There you go again (Ben-so-dumb). What these Crx people are saying is that everyone knows, (well almost everyone), negative remarks towards individuals is hurtfull. These girls are young and have to go through life making their own mistakes and learning from them, your referring to one incident and then place all the girls on the team in the same catagory is a mistake of your own. You don't know what these girls do or who they are off the ice so your misinformed and can't make judgements from what you think you know. Now back to the coaching part of it, Tim Moe like all good coaches, went out and surrounded himself with good coaches. He knows that most of the girls have had Persson as a coach coming up and are familar with his style. This year he went out and got a goalie coach for the 2 rookie goalies and look where that got them! So I would say he did a fine job of coaching and bringing together a great TEAM! effort from players and coaches.

Bensonmum, don't stereotype all the parents in C-town, it's a slap in the face. And until you know ALL the details (which you don't) on the game plan Crookston instills for certain games, I would keep my mouth shut. The reality is, is that you're making judgements here without knowing all the facts!

Benso-Dumb, I think its about time that you put the kabosh on all the Crookston hype. People are sick of hearing your negative and egotistical comments towards the lady Pirates. Heres what you need to do, get over whatever jealousy you have towards the Crookston Pirates and move on, hopefully you will one day see the BIG picture, which is, Crookston has an OUTSTANDING coaching staff and program, from youth to the varisty. You need to realize that each of the coaches brings different things to the program, and head coach Tim Moe is the organizer and really has surrounded himself with great assistants, in only 4 years!!!!!! I know for a fact you have no personel relationship with the players or parents so how can you see anything about them? I think its funny how you can make remarks and comments on the actions of maybe 1 or 2 people. Its ridiculous and if I were you, I would tuck tail and run because the more you open your mouth the deeper your hole gets. I almost feel bad for you, ALMOST.
