I haven't seen Pine City play this year. I kind of want to see what this squad has to offer. It would be hard to imagine this team has any player the caliber of Peckskamp or a goalie the caliber of Lochner. Hopefully Pine City makes a game of it so there season wasn't a complete sham.

This should be a pretty good game in Section 2A. It will be the first time this season that these two teams will meet. Pine City-Rush City comes in at 20-5 while Sauk Rapids-Rice is 15-8-2 while Sauk Rapids-Rice played an admittedly more difficult schedule.

On this one, I'm going to go with...

Sauk Rapids-Rice - 5
Pine City-Rush City - 3

Although Pine City has a nice winning record this year I think that Sauk will control this one 5-3 Sauk.

I'm going to call SR 5-1 in a game where the score may not reflect the game.

I like that analogy, it would make sense that little mistakes will kill PC in this one as they did not play any tough competition all year.

SR 6
PC 2

Shots may not be as far apart as the score in this one.

SR......................6
Pine City.............1

Its playoff time, SR will be flying and dominate this team. Lochner lets in a soft one, then totlally shuts them down.

I have seen the Pine City team play. they may not have stand out kids. But this team has been playing together for quite a long time, most of them have been playing varsity since tenth grade. And for their goalie, i think is saw on mshsl that he is coming into this game with 93% save percentage. Just hoping that this team shows up and plays to their potential.

Sauk-3
Pine City- 4

i think it should be a close one.

Any goalie that plays North Branch twice Becker Big Lake twice and MPLS east twice should have a save percentage of 100%!!!!!!Might be close but Sauk Rapids can put alot of shots on net.

Turn onto Benton Drive from Hwy 10 (the exit by the Budweiser distributor and garbage transfer station, not the north intersection by Sartell)

Take a left at the first stop light (Summit Ave\Lincoln Drive?).
Take an immediate right and cross the railroad tracks.
Take a left after the R\R tracks and keep going until you get to the entrance of the Benton County Fairgraounds.
Enter the fairgrounds on the left and you'll run into the arena.
