This is really disappointing news. Cloquet just doesn't seem to get any breaks. I remember the great team they had when Corey Millen went down to injury. They were real threats to win state that year too. The East game is a rivalry game so Cloquet will play hard and could win, but their chances of winning the section are now less than 50/50. East will be the solid favorite.

Games at CEC. Rink should be good for TV. They have a nice facility over there.

Karlsson and Ermatinger should be back tonight. Dunaisky has about another week... Roe & TJ, don't know...

I have recieved info from what I believe is a credible source that:

Tyler Johnson and Riley Roe are both out for the rest of the season with broken collar bones.

Also, that Victor Karlsson is out for tonight's game with a hip injury. Not sure how much longer he will be out for.

Certainly if this news is all true it would be devastating for Cloquet's state tourney hopes.

However, I wouldn't put it past them to win tonight against East. This rivalry is one of if not the best in the state. It's like the Vikings/Packers games, no matter now good or bad each team is or how many players are hurt or not playing, they still come out to play eachother. I think it will still be an amazing game and let's not forget that Cloquet still has perhaps the best goalie in the state between the pipes for tonight....I'm still excited for this game....

Jake Rychlak will probably move up from D... He was a 3rd line forward as a soph. last year.

the only loss is tyler johnson, karlsson will play and the others are a
nice supporting cast. let's see if the jacks can play without johnson
leading the team. it will be interesting to see if they get behind if they
would be able to battle back. the hounds have learned to play without
both fairchild and turnbull and have done a nice job. this will be a great game with or without tyler.

Thats what ive been thinking the whole time, since TJ is gone will they pull it off... IMO turnbull and fairchild where just as good as tj and still are rolling against top teams.. Excuses excuses cec, suck it up , some to play and expect a great game no matter what

turnball is not as good as tj, fairchild probably is but not turnball. east is always good but when cec loses that many forwards it will be hard for them to score goals. tj was most of their offense.

What is being forgotten, is how strong CEC's defense has been all year, and they aren't missing any of them. I don't believe this game was expected to be one where either teams offense was going to dictate the outcome anyway. If anything, CEC's defense has gotten deeper and better than the first time these teams have played. That being said, I still think they will be hurt, but not maybe as bad as everyone appears to be panicing over.

East isn't going to win.........if they don't score. Cloquet is pinning there hopes on Reid. The best tender in the state. Good luck to both teams.

Kevin Gorg is stupid. Not just for the fact that he pronounced Jokinen "Jockinen" but most of the things he says are rediculous. Anybody else feel the same? If not, I don't care, he's still an idiot.

haha
A pretty slow first period. The Jacks just aren't the same team with all these injuries. Leis and Ellingson are good.
