AUSTIN STATE TOURNEY BOUND

Post by HOCKEYPUCK1 »

AUSTIN IS CLEARLY THE REP FROM SECTION 1 A. I HAVE SEEN THEM PLAY THE COMPETION AND THEY JUST DON'T STACK UP ESPECIALLY FARIBAULT. THE FIRST GAME WAS THE WORST REFEREED GAME I HAVE SEEN IN 10 YEARS. FACE IT THE CALIBER OF PLAYERS IS JUST NOT THERE. IN ADDITION, AUSTINS GOALIE IS FAR SUPERIOR TO THE OTHERS IN THE SECTION WITH YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. HOW WAS THE MAYO GAME SO CLOSE 40 SOG, HAS ANYONE CAME CLOSE TO BEATING MAYO OTHER THAN AUSTIN? :?:

Austin will clearly advance to state if they win their next 2 games.
They are also clearly not invincible.

Clearly another silly post by a newbie. Obviously a post from someone from another town, trying to motivate their team before they play Austin. Possibly another kid who can't spell.

This is a person who has watched hockey for 10 years and still has not learned the game. A 1-3 goal win in hockey is nothing. This difference can be eliminated by many variables. Ex. change in systems, line matchups, a simple mistake, bounce of the puck, bad call, etc. This section is very tight and very close.

I am starting to lose my confidence in this forum. The problem with the internet, is that it loses its creditabilty, when people are anonymous.

So is it an AL fan or Faribault fan?

Well ya, it's obviously somebody from AL or Faribo. We all know the kids at AHS and the people of Austin are above submitting something like that. You're a big Oliver Stone fan aren't you? jetjock is quick in his attempts to diffuse these type of posts, but I'm afraid it's too late. Austin is already wearing the target.

Austin is starting to sound like a bunch of frontrunners. Last year they had all kinds of fans in the boys' 1A forum, but this year hardly any. My guess is it will be the same with the girls and we hardly hear a peep next year.

Funny, I feel left out.

I'll jump on the Albert Lea bandwagon. RSI is right, lets get Austin. Albert Lea is going to beat Austin. Austin deserves no respect and this post was started by someone from Austin. Of course Albert Lea will never beat Faribault again for at least this year and next. Tigers wil take Austin down.

By the way, who shot JFK? It was the mob right?

ITS FUNNY HOW ALL OF YOU TALK ABOUT FARIBAULT, ALBERT LEA AND WEST BEING THE FAVORITES IF I REMEMBER ALL THESE TEAMS LOST TWICE TO AUSTIN THIS YEAR. 22-3 THATS TWO LOSSES TO MAYO BY A TOTAL OF 3 GOALS AND ONE LOSS TO BLAINE. SO HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY HAVE YOUR HEAD ON STRAIGHT BY TALKING ABOUT FARIBAULT, ALBERT LEA OR WEST BEING A FAVORITE TO THE STATE TOURNEY. THEY ALL HAD TWO CHANCES TO BEAT AUSTIN ALREADY THIS YEAR AND COULDN'T COME THROUGH SO WHY NOW.

So angry...

Austin is definitely favored. They are not the fastest team in the world, though.

Remember, "on any given night..." Strange things sometimes happen.

Take those shots "blocker side high" :)

May I gently remind you that not all goalies have their stats listed or up to date.
Also, if you click on your Caps Lock again you can type normally.
Thanks.

I heard I missed the fireworks on this thread earlier today. I see all the posts were deleted though. They were emailed to me. I was working, as I see someone must not of been. Yes Austin has a target on them but so does every other 1 seed in the state. That is the obvious.
Back to the fireworks, when you disclose a person's identity, as you did with RSI, you have to realize that can put a target on an undeserving daughter, hopefully better discretion is used next time.

Hockeypuck get some therapy, and prove to me you are from Austin.

Jetjock,
Can you save me a few dollars and narrow down what I need therapy in?

I'm from all over... I'm a transfer.

Sincerely,
Pondhockey

Which, BTW, is all I meant with that post.
