Holy Family Catholic @ St Cloud Cathedral 2-2-07

Post by HShockeywatcher »

The Fire (13-5-1) from Holy Family travel to St Cloud on Friday night to play the Crusaders (14-3-1) of Cathedral. Both teams plays a game tonight but only Cathedral plays one on Thursday. Who will win this Catholic, Wright Country duel?

SCC, coming off of a big loss to Mound. HF, coming off of a big win to Mound. Should be interesting.

Holy Family - 4
SCC - 2

Holy Family actually puts shots on target this game unlike the last time they played when their sights were completely off.

Smothers plays another strong game.

I know similar opponents don't really matter, but for all of you thinking Cathedral will take it, how do you explain the loss to a team Holy Family beat?

Sounds like someone has a grudge against Delano. It wasn't a "fluke", it was an "upset".

so what about a few games earlier when HF got destroyed by mound. are you forgetting that. I know that this was more recent, but HF is still struggling on offense and their defense doesnt look a whole lot better.

Is Nate Schmidt playing in this game, and is Bob Durant playing in this game. If so HF will have trouble shutting down SCC's offensive forces. But without them HF will do just fine. Dont get me wrong SCC is a great team with those two and without those two. But it hurts a teams flow when there star Freshman and there Senior Captain are both hurt.

They've been out for a while now...team flow isn't really a factor anymore...

It isn't a good thing by any means for them to be out. I'll give SCC the edge in this one...we'll say by 2.

I'll stay with the same score as last game:

SCC 6 HF 3

However, if SCC stays out of the penalty box, it'll be even more:

It clearly says after the second period. They haven't put the third on the internet and since it's so late the game probably either went into OT or they just didn't put it on the internet for whatever reason.
