Who has the best fans?
I only bring this up because some people were saying Roseau was not being very Sportsman like towards Warroad in general.... Any thoughts on that?

~ We have a pretty good student section from both Warroad and Roseau, but when they play each other you never no what they're gonna say next... It can be funny but some things just go over the top some times, it goes both ways tho!~jrgold#42 wrote:being a fan at HS games, i would have to go with Jefferson or Burnsville. They dont have great teams but with the number of kids at each school, and how important beating rivals teams are to them, they show up and make it fun. Edina also has a great student section.

Oh, nice fans? Takes East and Cloquet out of the picture then. And probably fans from several dozen other schools.RamFan2010! wrote:SOrry ... i dont play hockey i just love to watch it... so i dint put all the teams on there i put mostly the ones Roseau plays... but you can obvioulsy write what team you think really has nice fans!east hockey wrote:An interesting choice of teams in there. ~ Yeah thats what i think too.. but its those parents that get all hyped up about it!!! I obviusly go to Roseau and we make signs and deck out for the games and have little stupid chants... i think thats how most hockey games go if they have an awesome cheering section filled with students like ours.hshockeyfan53 wrote:I go to Hermantown and we have so much fun at the hockey games. We often don't show that much sportsmanship but guess what, nobody comes into our house with out getting pushed around. Thats how we play so if you don't like it then leave your skates at home.

Re: Who has the best fans?
Seriously, if you think Roseau "fans" are less sportsman-like to Warroad fans (than vice versa) you haven't experienced this true rivalry.PASTRAPIDSFAN wrote:I would agree with that statement Ive been to roseau many times over the years and have seen it many times.RamFan2010! wrote:I only bring this up because some people were saying Roseau was not being very Sportsman like towards Warroad in general.... If you think this rivalry is only about being "nice" and friendly, you need to look again.

~ I agree.... I was just writing what someone said at the game last night... BUt when we were at the Gardens the Warriors dished it right back at us, they had signs and little chants too!HockeyFan1 wrote:Seriously, if you think Roseau "fans" are less sportsman-like to Warroad fans (than vice versa) you haven't experienced this true rivalry.PASTRAPIDSFAN wrote:I would agree with that statement Ive been to roseau many times over the years and have seen it many times.RamFan2010! wrote:I only bring this up because some people were saying Roseau was not being very Sportsman like towards Warroad in general.... ~ WOW that person had guts... i dint hear it and i was sitting right to the left of a huge Warroad student section... I know at the end of the game someone thru a pop bottle on the ice from Warroad... thats not good sportsmanship at all, it was as fair as it could be and to throw a pop bottle on the ice that is so so so low!!!!gordon wrote:ti heard that before the national anthem lastnight someone from warroad yelled oliver your fat!
