Overheard people at the high school game last night talking about the Brainerd bantam and peewee A's traveling north sometime early in February to play Bemidji, Roseau and Warroad. This trip could help size up both teams.

Brainerd does play Bemidji, Warroad and Roseau the first weekend of Feb. You are right, Rattlin' Cages, that will be an interesting weekend!

Generally it's not always who you've beaten but who you've lost to. Alex beat Moorhead (not sure of the score) the same day Moorhead beat Brainerd 5-4. Moorhead also didn't play that great in St. Cloud the same weekend Brainerd won their home tourney. It really doesn't matter for a few more weeks anyways until playoffs.
