Dan Foster scored twice quickly for Greenway and the Raiders lead 3-1 after 1. Wadena owned the second period taking a 4-3 lead into the locker room after 2. It was 4-4, but then Wadena went up 6-4. Raiders made it 6-5, but couldn't score while buzzing in the last minute. Underwood was sub-par.dangelingranger-17 wrote:whats the game summary.. anyone know?

I don't think Greenway is quite at the level of the upper teams in 7A. Virginia throttled Wadena earlier this year 9-2, outshooting them 66-16. Eveleth beat them as well. Even Northern (Pequot) Lakes handled them by a 6-1 score. I thought for sure Greenway would come out of this with a "W".
On a side note, Greenway has now given up 100 goals in 18 games and they are going to be taking on the highest scoring team in the section on Tuesday. Virginia is averaging 5.7 goals per game and they haven't played the weaker part of their schedule yet. It could get ugly if they don't tighten up the screws a little bit.

Wadena's only losses came from Virgina , Little Falls , Detroit lakes , and Holy family from the cities , All ranked teams , think of you as lucky , for only scoring 6 goals , I was told they were having a bad day ! They have 3 scores in the top ten in state , I think you saw them , Pettit, Maus , and Wolden . I belive they scored 4 goals , correct me if I'm wrong?
