AHA vs. Shattuck

Post by HastingsDangler02 »

I think Shattuck won this game last year. I am probably going to have to say they will repeat another victory yet again this year, but you never know. What's everyone think....

If Holy Angels plays how they did against Stillwater, Shattuck will win. Otherwise Holy Angels should take it.

What's their mascot?

I am also a homer, I like the STARS....

AHA has lost all four times they have player. With Crosby they lost 4 - 3, the nxt year they got bombed 10 - 3, the next year AHA lost in OT and last year AHA lost 5 - 2. Minus Barriball and Matson was not in the third period. He was not well.....

Tickets are still available. We will be selling them at the arena Thursday, Friday and Saturday after 9:00 AM. Prices are adults $6 and studens/seniors are $4. Preschool is free.......

Parking again will be the biggest problem.

Ty Gretzky will be playing in the JV game at 5:30....At least that is the team he is listed with....

hastingsdangler, its not sold out yet! not even close. theyve only sold 200 pre paid tickets so far. and its this saturday ( jan 27 at 730-varsity) you wont be able to get a good seat if you get there 30 min before the varsity game, theres no way you'll get a parking spot or a good seat! you need to get there and watch the jv to save your seat and watch the best game of the season the right way!

Zamman how many people you guys expecting? ( i know you already answered but maybe it changed)

Well the manger predicted 800 for the Hill Murray game and he was off by only 27 people. He mentioned that he would expect 1200, but you never know.....

people say they arent that good this year. i think thats funny. 1 they are always great not good and can blow you out any day. and plus they crushed Team Illinios 6-3 in the bauer tourney. and in september they had only lost 1 game all season from january 06-sep 06! with the schedule they play thats amazing

Zamman - the games have all been very good. Both these teams know each other very well...playing together at the chowder cup last year and through the youth programs.

Wow I almost forgot to check my own schedule to c if I have a game, but.....I'm good! Thankfully, pretty psyched for the game. 1200 people, thats a lot of people, if that many go it should be an awesome game, will be either way but yea, make it more fun. I never posted my score but I'm going with 4-3 SSM.

As much as they are a private school, is there anyone on here who wants Holy Angels (the MSHSL team of the two) to lose?

I personally don't care about this game. So, I don't care who wins.

These may be the most anticipated games of the year, with the exception of the state tourney.

Only you would say that. Two great teams, will be a great hockey game for any hockey fan, but since there not from up north you don't care.

I would like to see a high school team beating a prep-hockey school.
But I think SSM will take this one 4-3.

No -I would say that too. SSM and HAHAHA are both able to recruit whomever they like so it really takes away from the ameteurism of it all. Sid Crosby New Foundland and Ty Gretzky from Arizona; MN High school hockey is not what it used to be when Henry Boucha was the man among boys.

How bout dem der Spuds and 7AA? Ya you betcha.

1. I don't care a whole ton who wins, but one of my old teammates who was one of my better friends(Stepan) plays for Shattuck so that gives me more of a reason to root for them. I also have an old teammate(Raskob) on AHA like I stated earlier but not as good of a friend I guess you could say, never talk to him anymore, so I'm one of those guys who wants AHA to loose.

2. SSM and HAHAHA are both able to recruit whomever they like so it really takes away from the ameteurism of it all.(quote) -yea, specially SSM but they are not a highschool league team so who cares who they recruit. AHA not so much, I mean they can and probably do recruit but it just makes it that much better when they loose.

3. This is by far one of the most anticipated games of the year. I don't care if you don't give a shiaaat about either team, both are very talented and will make for a great and fun game to watch.

I would call them both prep teams/ AHA doesn't have a home town kid on it.
