Crookston @ Warroad 1-23-07
The Crookston Pirates (4-10-2) travel to Warroad on Tuesday to play the Warriors (12-5-1). Crookston would not look like they have a chance with their record but they have a win against Fargo South and four 1 goal losses (one of those being against Warroad).

You guys are being real generous here. Crookston has been playing decent hockey since late December but the trip to the Gardens has been a real death march over the years. The big sheet really tears them up, the Pirates just aren't deep enough to skate with Warroad. Warroad will really have room to wheel in the attacking zone.

No Respect
Boy,
Not giving much respect to Crookston!
Just remember, the same was happening to TRF prior to their game with M
RHEAD.
War 5 -3 over Crookston with an ENG.

whoa...
It seems a lot of you guys have warped views of Warroad's talent because of their '03-'05 run. Last year was also a solid season as runner-up, but this year's talent is nothing near what it was. Still decent but hardly better than the other teams in the section. There are 6 teams in the running for the title this year and it can all be attributed to down years for most. I still think Warroad will win because it's at home but it'll be a close one. 4-2.

Not "at least" 6...6. Never said anything about 7-10.
1. Warroad
2. EGF
3. TRF
4. PR
5. CROX
6. DL
---------------------------------
Do I think Detroit Lakes, Park Rapids, or Crookston will win the section? Absolutely not. Do I think it's possible? Definitely. All of these teams have shown inconsistency throughout the season and as it is every year, the hot team in the playoffs will come out on top. If Warroad plays poorly and Park Rapids plays well, Park Rapids will win, no doubt. Warroad isn't far ahead of the pack. It'll be fun to see who steps up down the stretch.

This section is a two horse race. Warroad and Thief will get a rematch of last years section championship game. Maybe this year it will be decided faster then 4 overtimes. Anyone of those other four teams you mentioned are very capable of taking home 3rd place in the section, but dont expect anymore then that.
