Hickey should be here.....

He dominated the tourney last year and is just getting back. He looked like his old self getting a hatty vs Stillwater. Watch for him to consistently light the lamp as the season progresses.

As posted in the "best high school players" thread (since they are all forwards):

The top 10 According to the NHL Central Scouting Service:

10: Taylor Mattson - Academy of Holy Angels
9: Jordy Christian - Moorhead
8: Tyler Johnson - Cloquet
7: Jake Hansen - White Bear Lake
6: Drew LeBlanc - Hermantown
5: Nico Sacchetti - Virginia
4: John Lee - Moorhead
3: Nick Larson - Hill-Murray
2: Patrick White - Grand Rapids
1: Ryan McDonagh - Cretin-Derham Hall

The poll choices are missing half of them!

I thought that the FSN game only put more doubt in my mind about Marvin. Yeah he had some moves but he doesn't shoot to score...too many times in the game did I see him just flip the puck on net. Good players shoot to score. If you are just shooting to get the puck on net than what are you doing? Now if you are shooting at the back door so your winger can get a tip that is different but Marvin had point blank shots that he just flipped in there.

Jordy Christian is my pick...he is a good high schooler but he had a lot of work if he wants to be a stud in college. Needs to be more physical, gain a stronger/heavier shot.

Marvin

My pick goes to Aaron Marvin...he is not on the following list because he was drafted last year.

Yep, your right, I guess I missed them when I filtered out the D. Don't know how I overlooked McDonagh at #1 though... Although it was around 1AM when I posted.

aaron marvin definately deserves to be on that list..when he is not scoring he provides a presence on the ice some of those players dont! u dont get drafted to the nhl as a junior and not get mentioned as one of the best in ur state.. in fact u mentioned christian does need to get bigger if he wants to be a stud in college well guess what marvin has that and u say he doesnt shoot to score well thats cuz he doesnt hog the puck like some of the others on your list and hes missing from central scouting cuz he was drafted last year
