I see from the Shattuck website that their Prep Team is scrimmaging the EP varsity on February 2nd. THAT should be some great hockey!

If it was a game that was important; say, deciding who goes to U19 Nationals; I would predict SSM would win by at least three or four goals.

Two 25 min. stop periods. E.P. without Riggs, Bladder, Peterson.

First 25 min. 4-0 Shatuck. All powerplay goals.

Second 25 min. 2-1 Shattuck. 1 powerplay goal and 1 four on four goal.
Feste even strength goal for E.P.

Overall 6-1 Shattuck. Fun to watch Shattuck play!!!

I guess they play again Thur. Feb, 8 @ E.P

Maybe with a full lineup EP will play them a little closer on Thursday.

How did the two U recruits (sisters) for Shattuck look?

Add Feste to them and you have a great trio... Just a hope for the Gophers, and not speaking to any facts, etc...

SSM Gopher Recruit(s)

Post by brookyone »

Don't overlook current SSM forward, the very talented Jen Schoullis joining Minnesota...just one season prior to her current and future teammates.

The Rematch: SSM 10 - EP 3

Post by unbelievable »

SSM 10 - EP 3

Details from another forum (thanks siglet!):

For the first 35 minutes or so it was a scrimmage which SSM won 7-2. After that they did the ice and took turns on power play and penalty kill. 8 minutes total on the power play and 8 on penalty kill. Then they each did a 4 minute round on a five on three. EP had maybe one shot on their 5-3 power play. SSM did a great job killing. During the 2nd part SSM scored 3 and EP got one.
