hes from como i dont think ne one would hear about themCurt Slax wrote:Uh, hey everyone. I guess you could say I'm new here. My name's Curt Slax and I'm from Cottage Grove. Personally, I think Chuck Flatlander, from Como, is the best 2nd year in MN. He is way underrated, and many of you probably have not heard of him. But I say he's going pro when he's a junior in High School.

He is not a high school level player.SteadyEddy wrote:Taft, a 2nd year from Edina, should have played high school hockey although he decided to play Bantams with his friends. How can a player not want to play with his friends?
In my opinion, after watching the Edina Bantam Team play in a few tournaments this year, he would have been better off and developed quicker playing against older kids - better competition, more talented players and a faster paced game.
Maybe his Bantam coach said he would develop just as much playing another year of bantams vs. playing against the high school players. Can't say I would agree as the the Bantam level is down compared to previous years.
Woody22 - Maybe you should ask the Edina HS Coach if Taft is a high school level player. Heard a rumor back during tryouts that he made the team. If this rumor is wrong please set the rumor mill straight?woody22 wrote:He is not a high school level player.SteadyEddy wrote:Taft, a 2nd year from Edina, should have played high school hockey although he decided to play Bantams with his friends. At this stage I'm sure it doesn't matter as he is definitely playing with his friends on the Edina Bantam Team.
How can one disagree, boblee is the best. If you look around the state of hockey you'll see quite a few very good Bantam players, from first years to second years and even third years. Maybe this is a good time to close out this post. RIP!boblee wrote:boblee is the best 2nd year bantam
