Angels Public-style!

Post by Ankles Pierre, Jr. »

Ankles Pierre will not have to wait until January 20th or Lent

to preview the coming match-ups between the best two teams in our state (Pioneer Press),

because tonight Hill-Murray takes on the REAL Holy Angels.

AP agrees with the MSHSL that AHA should be allowed to get its students only from Richfield...

but not from the high school
(that would be recruiting).

According to MSHSL rules, to be eligible to attend AHA one must have dropped out of high school for at least one year

and never before played hockey; however, we all know how Catholics learn to cheat in religion class

(AP's not ripping on Hill-Murray though, since as Neut-14 and his Grandpa Elliott-70 will tell you, no Catholics really play there)!

Well AP, good luck vs the Spartans.

I know the bigots want to kick us out of the MSHSL but I 'll bet more than a few Catholic faithful wouldnt mind it if theyd kick AHA and HM out of their respective conferences for hockey.

CDH takes on the Mustangs from the Mounds View Area tonight. Da Raidahs are looking to successfully defend their SEC championship. They have done well so far but face tough tests vs Roseville Area and Da Bears Area coming up soon.

BSM takes on St Louis Park. A little friendly neighborhood battle. No home ice advantage there.

The Stars take on Prior Lake on Friday.

Go Catholics.

Get out and support your teams.

Already Pius

Post by Ankles Pierre, Jr. »

Hill-Murray beat the "State-Sanctioned" Holy Angels 11-2 last night,
but if you look at the box score, assists go to Hill on both enemy goals
(the Pioneers must have been feeling extra-Christian last night...
how much more extra-Christian can they get... they're already Catholic)!

I saw the score and hoped it would make you feel better about things.

BSM pitched a shutout at SLP 5-0

CDH dismissed a pesky Mounds View team 4-2

AHA plays tonight. As usual, they never play when everyone else does.

CDH now faces a couple of tough Area teams called Roseville and White Bear Lake. The Rosville Area Team is on tap this Sat night at Highland. Packerboy will be on hand and provide a full report.

These Area teams in the SEC will be formidable.

The phobics whine about the Catholics and how they have "the upper hand" but I think all of these Area schools out to be kicked out of the MSHSL and they can have their own tournament.

Its just so unfair to have to face a half a dozen towns on the same night.

But CDH won the SEC last year and is lookin to repeat.

Does the "C" in SEC stand for Catholics?

Anyway, AHA has Prior lake tonight and then the fat cat suburbans from the Wayzate Area on Sat night. Ever been to Wayzata High School? Its absolutely beautiful. Phenominal facility. But it aint in Wayzata.

BSM faces off against another pagan behemouth in Minnetonka.

AP's Pioneers have the weekend off against Simley.

Lets go Catholics.

Shouldn't that be the other way around (not counting January 20th)?

Apparently it is the other way around on the ice.

Another Penance

Post by Ankles Pierre, Jr. »

Though it is true that God created ALL Catholics in His Image,

AP prefers the Pioneers by far in any game or scrimmage.

Please hear AP’s confession as always HM tops his list;

The schools near the bottom are the ones AP will likely dis-.

1. Hill-Murray has done more than any for Catholics and hockey fans in this state.
2. And though many say AHA cheats—still AP thinks they’re great.

3. Not much about Benilde-St Margaret’s does anyone ever hear (Kinda reminds AP of CDH’s team all throughout last year).

4. 1970’s past GR players with their Indian hexes from the stands (and you thought only Catholics mixed religion and hockey fans) so last year CDH was cheated out of getting to face Hill (AP was pretty happy though since Catholics won the thing still).

5. Holy Family is the new team all the posters like to hate (AP wonders what they’ll say when they see HFC in State).

6. Years from now Providence Academy will have moved up to AA (but HSHockeyStalker will still be arguing we should give more respect to STA).

7. AP is confused why Catholics even go to Totino-Grace (since not much further up the Hill there’s a better hyphenated place).

8. Next come SCC, RL, Duluth Cathedral, SA/SB, DeLaSalle and Crookston Cathedral which may not even exist (but AP would rather go with any of them than put STA on this list).

9. From the following quote it looks like HSHockeyStalker wants to get a shout (but AP thinks if HSHockeyStalker is really a school AP would rather dropout).

HShockeywatcher wrote:Also, they read something like "Boy's State Champions" and it should be "Boys' State Champions". Making all us private schools look bad putting the apostrophy in the wrong place...

AP with his candor, is really quite sincere

We always knew his favorite Catholics were the Pioneers

So long as we are honest, I really must disclose

I was hopin for old Indians but crossin just my toes

PB was thinkin that Hill -Murray would be tough to beat

But an all Catholic final would keep them in their seats

The reason for this treason is obvious to most

CHD is my Holy Family's team... with kids we love to boast

But we love all the Catholics, they are here to stay

If only we could find a way to get rid of STA :lol:

Totino and all the Catholics are fightin for the right

But lets forget this Class A stuff like our brothers The Red Knights

But no matter who are favorites , the pagns wont make a dent

If you dont believe me , Just Wait Until Lent

Meat-cutter guy,
I am a prose guy - buy it, read it, enjoy it.

Northern Heat by Mark Elliott
soon to be released
Southern Heat by Mark Elliott

also in the works
Hockey Heat, a has-been Catholic hockey player from up north goes off the deep end at a youth hockey tourney.

My poetry is dark and depressing*, but if I get an extra minute (or two or three hours if I am to match your skill), I will do it.

*nothing better to do but feel sorry for myself while waiting for the neck to heal and the 'halo' to come off.
Yes, I was given a halo (temporarily).

His Crusade seemed sincere;

Packer seemed to make his promise;

But instead of marching with the Pioneer,

He wimped out like St. Thomas!

This insult of the highest form is really quite insane
Its not my fault the Pioneers could not get to the game
They had their chance to go the dance and boogie wonderland
The Crusade enabled all the pagans to really understand
The Raiders would have beat them anyway, thats what I think ,Im sure
But losing to GR must have been quite difficult to endure

Let AP help:

Elliott is a Spud;

His hockey team's a dud;

Their cheerleaders chew their cud;

Hope Elliott's well before Spring flood.

Mo-towns kool-aid

when the crusade is complete
and you both smell my feet
you will all be beat
and that will be pretty neat

AP's Pioneers last year.... LOST TO STA.

The last of my rhyme was quit unkind and really rather cruel

For taking such a cheap shot post I feel just like a fool

But The Crusade last year was clean and pure and indeed quite successful

The Catholic champs made all the phobic pagans look rather dreadful

So its "Wait Until Lent" this year where good Catholics can all post

AP's support and knowledge are what my mom would call "the most"

All the other Catholics should be chimin in rightnow and here

Cuz the Catholics are gonna win it all again this coming year

Wait...Wait until Lent.

The Catholics were impressive again last night.

The Roseville Area team is a good team but they couldnt finish with CDH.

Goaltending by CDH had a lot to do with it. 4-0 score is a little decieving but he better team won.

It will be fun to watch CDH the rest of the way as they are now back to full strength.

AHA beat another suburban giant , Wayzata, by the slim margin of 2-1.

BSM rolled over Minnetonka 9-2 and lone wolf AP's favotite team won 9-0 over Simley.

Congrats to all the Catholic teams.
