For Bantam A there is a big list..

Eden Prairie, Centennial, Edina, Wayzata, Duluth East, and Jefferson are all teams who have a chance at winning there is even more teams but it just depends on how the teams develop by the end of the year.

Good list above me, but lets look at these little facts:

Centennial - Nay. They lost to Jefferson 4-1 and havent shown up everynight to play like a state championship team would.

EP - Good Chance. Beaten every team listed above and have stayed solid through every game.

Jefferson - Gotta Chance. Tied EP and Duluth East, Beat Centennial and Wayzata. Depends on how they finish the season.

Edina - Nay. Im sick and tired of Edina. They'll get knocked off.

if u have wayzata making it u might as well give blaine a chance becuz blaine beat them 5-3 in edina. and u might as well give tartan a chance if u have edina cuz tartan beat em 3-1. sounds like ur just ridin thee old bandwagon and goin with the teams that are talked about and ranked high...just my opinion tho

Blaines good but not good enough to win state. And has Wayzata improved a lot since the beginning of the season? Because they didnt do so hot in the Centennial Preview in the very beginning of the season. They lost to Edina, and Jefferson and im not sure how they did against SSM.

And Centennial will not be getting to the finals this year. The powerhouse they had last year has become and average B-A team.

DAbears sorry i kinda forgot about tartan but only 4 city teams make it and just b/c tartan beat edina that one game doesnt mean they will beat them when it matters in regions (if they play) but tartan is good i saw them play but i dont think they have the experience like say the edina boys (even though i cant STAND them)

People are really not seeing that Edina is actually a descent team. I've watched them play a number of times and they played with E.P. they played very closely with Duluth East and it is just a matter of how badly the kids on any of these teams want to win. And a note on Centennial, they always play good at the end of the season.

yea ur right its just one game but im just sayin that if ur givin edina a chance then give a team that beat them a chance becuz they CAN beat them and the top teams.....if this makes any sense to u

I think that.. Duluth East and Eden Praire have the best chance but woodbury also has a chance of getting there, Tartan sucks! I don't see the big thing with them..

well if u think they suck then i would take woodbury out of the list u put becuz tartan is just as good as woodbury. but DE and EP r good pics becuz they obviously are the top 2 and the obvious favorites

Regions and State

Post by Pucknutz69 »

I think you will see quite a few different teams in both tournaments.

Woodbury is on a mission.
Tartan has proved they can play with the best teams.
A few others are looking good.
and others are looking beatable, Edina, WBL, Jefferson, Centennial all have shown weaknesses at times.

With the new Region system the South will have 2 from D8 with Woodbury, Rochester, Lakeville South and Cottage Grove looking to get in.

D2 will beat up on each other with Tartan, Duluth East, WBL, MV, Stillwater, Centennial, Elk River, St Cloud, Andover and Blaine showing up on the East.

The West will only get to bring 2 with EP, Edina, Jefferson, Chaska, Burnsville, Wayzata, Maple Grove all beating each other up.

It will be very exciting come playoff time.
