Is Edina White playing well lately. It has seem that they have been losing a lot of game resontly?

EAGLEGUY,

What I take from one of your last blips was that you didn't want to comment on the EP red team as a "viable" #1. Now I know that any one of the top ten ranked teams can win on any given night, but since you are an EP guy, ....... am I reading something into this that you do not consider the Red team to be a "possible #1 ????? Please give your thoughts?

EP Red beat Wayzata Blue it was actually a pretty even game. The difference were the penalties. EP Red runs a TERRIFIC powerplay. Stay out of the box if you want to beat them. Blue had way too many penalties. Some were justified some were not.

5-5 both teams looked pretty even to me. I think the shots were again indicative of the Powerplay time.

Because of the way they play together and capitalize,EP Red is easily my #1 in state.

White and East was a solid game. White is in dire need of getting whoever they have injured back. Their coach is still a whiner I cant watch them play anymore he infuriates me. Making every call for the refs.

Centennial got destroyed I think Green is moving up in intensity and puck movement they will be there in D6 at the end watch out!

You are correct. The only thing consistent in Bantam B's is inconsistency.

From what I've seen lately, the best team play (offense AND defense) is coming from:

1) Elk River
2) Edina White
3) EP Red
4) Edina Green
5) Mtka
6) Centennial
7) Wayzata Blue
8) Blaine

The potentially most talented teams are:

1) Edina White (when healthy)
2) Blaine
3) Wayzata Blue
4) Edina Green
5) Elk River
6) Blake
7) Centennial
8) WBL Black

Add the goaltending (which seems to come into play more as the season goes on and games tighten) into the mix and we get what we are seeing in the scores.

Just my $.02

That is a perfect statement of the year so far.
You forgot one of the teams with the most potential - Chaska.

They have some of the most talented and skilled kids but too often play as individuals as not as a cohesive unit. If they ever flip the switch in their heads that this is a team game they could be unstoppable.

They are the jekyll and hyde team like no other[/quote]

Lakeville South over Champlin 6-1, Lakeville dominated the game, only slip up was a few odd man rushes.
EP Black over Rochester Black 1-0, shots were about even and could have gone either way.

Also from Bloomington
Chaska 3
Wayzata Gold 2

If it wasn't for the Wayzata goalie standing on his head and having a great game it could have been a lot worse.

Same script/story line tonight as the previous game - reversal of roles occurred though

If anyone wants to know the actual other score from Bloomington, it was Andover 5, Littleton,CO, 4 in OT . . .I watched it end. Blueblood can verify.

Ice00, what happened? Usually a reliable source, too. No harm. I'm here to cover.

Breakfast in Bloomington - bright and early!!

Wow, I have no clue what was wrong with me when I typed it last night. I might have typoed it but most likely I was totally out of it. Sorry about that but yes, 5-4 in OT.

MWR Recap

Post by blueblood »

It's an all D6 final with EP Black looking to avenge 2 district losses to the Jags at 11:45am tomorrow.

I like the Eagles chances in this one.

To future teams playing EP Black, don't get down early and stay out of the penalty box. They have scored 5 of their last 7 on the PP.

Look for the Edina champ to take over the top spot.

Tomorrow @ Edina:
