nope, I think that Hibbing is having a dissapointing season this year, Greenway doesn't even have a team either. I havent seen I'falls or Virgina yet , are they good?
virginia beat falls 8 to 6 after an 8 to 2 lead as they let up in the third, saw that. and yeah rapids is have a pretty good year.virginia and rapids should be a tight one in the end.
so yeah both those 2 teams are doing good this year. all i saw was hibbing and eveleth not any of the 2 suprised me not even with players.but there can be upsets so who knows we can only wait.
I have seen rapids and hibbing and some other northern teams and i have watched a lot of rapids and they are inconsitent but they are good enough that they still dominate teams they have a couple of star players they are the best in the Ir district
GR has no stars Just a good group that works together. 11 of the 14 skaters all have potential to put the puck away, and about 5 of them really bang. 1 big forward is dangerous in the corner and keep your head up if Kleinendorst sees you coming. Probably have the best coaching in the state with former NHL'rs Trent Klatt and Scot Kleinendorst. Will be a force by end of season if their legs hold up with such a short bench.
That is correct both coaches Trent Klatt and Scot Kleinendorst stress nothing more than team play and equally as important maximum effort. There are no individual players on their teams the 6 men on the ice must work as a unit to achieve victory. Both coaches stress the ultimate importance of team element and practice time (effort/hard work) and game conditions dictate their philosphy. Great coaches in a time when great coaches are most needed for the overall good of the game.
GR has an all around nice team, but in terms of hitters, their big five start with #15 Merritt. Converted defenseman to wing, over 6'2", is a terror in the corners. Downside is losing focus at times. #4 Kleinendorst. All around good player, likes to hit first and find the puck later. Downside is leaving position to find the big hit. # 9 Skrbec. Good speed, plays bigger than he really is not afraid of anyone. Downside is knowing when to hit and when to skate around someone. #19 Tatter. Good size, will lay out to make a hit. Downside is consistency and getting caught in battles in the corners. #14 Mendoza. Smaller forward but will take on anyone. Keep your head up cause you never know with him. Downside is not using his speed to get by someone, challenging them instead of going around them.
first of al A.J. merrit is definently not a threat in the corners! for his size I would say that he would be the one not to go for the hit and instead try to poke away the puck and miss like ive seen. He has alot of potential and needs to step it up if he wants to help out the G.R. team

Step into a corner with him and challenge him then. With a comment like that, you must have played with or against him. ]
well i'm not a player and i have seen this merritt boy play. he is basically worthless and one of the most chicken players i have ever seen make a bantam a team
when he played us he never hit anyone but he got lit-up a few times from people 6 inches smaller than him. and whenever he'd go off the ice he would smoke his stick aginst the boards. poor sport, can't handle his emotions.
