OK hockeyon, or should I say clueless, the box scores say that the 1st line including silver bays captains were on the ice for the third period in GRG's Jv game against Silverbay and factored in on three goals. If you are not knowledgable on hockey facts, do not respond to a legitimate hockey forum! Also, they needed to play because Silver bay only has 9 players on their JV team so each one of their varsity lines must play one period each night! Or they must play really shorthanded! You should switch to the high school basketball forum!

And since I'm on a roll, I will say the following. It's a good thing no Cloquet players are on the high school forum or our head coach would have their heads! I have found it hard to believe that their are players on the GRG team that banter back and forth about themselves and their own teammates on this forum! For example, Bella01=Hamman. Being a retired hockey coach with contacts inside every community, and a watchful eye of months of dialogue on this forum, I have identified many of you! Play hockey and have fun, enjoy your teammates! High school years go so fast, don't waste it with a pessimistic attitude!

Wow a retired hockey coach with contacts in every community, golly your important for a guy who has made 12 posts since joining on Dec 1st but yes indeed I am sure you try and keep a close eye on these forums so that you can solve all the injustices in the world . My god man even if you are what you say you are you actually evaluated a box score to determine who was playng in a b squad game and you certainly seem to have an ax to grind in mentioning the negative performance of the sr goalie in no fewer than 4 different posts ; For a retired coach your conduct and acusations are at a minimum childish and defaming but I expect that those were your intentions. I am sure the Cloquet community is proud of the way you drag their excellent hockey name through the mud with your
accusations and potentialy fabricated inuendo. If indeed you have ties to Cloquet which I whole heartidly doubt. At least not official ties. Gee why would a guy keep such closer track of a b squad game let me think hmmmm.

ANYWAYS...Big win for GRG. They didn't beat a top ten team, but they won a game they needed badly. Hopefully this afternoon turns up likewise.

I think half the fun of this board is trying to identify people. But, don't always be 100% you are correct.

The Lightning put together a great effort today. Things clicked much better, even without Guyer, as they were for the weekend. Maybe they are turning it around, HUGE game Tuesday.

Listen, I guess I went to far in singling out people. But , I travel many nights each week watching high school hockey, and in the past few years girls hockey since my retirement. I just want to spend some time swapping hockey talk with knowledgable adults. When I find out that many of the people on this forum are students, I was very disappointed! Sorry! And some people have recently questioned where I'm from! Immaturity! You kids have a nice high school life but I am switching to straight adult talk- one on one! Congratulations on the GRG win, and looking forward to our next meeting on the ice! Go Cloquet!

So you can't handle talking to kids on this board because you think they don't have the knowledge you do?

As you go back to my predictions of Erickson leading the team this wekend and the STR tender leading the team which some were critical of >

Erickson 5 Goals and 3 assists

Hammann shutout with 21 saves

Thank you to my doubting public for your continued support LOL

I don't think you have the right to use the word immaturity. Attempting to call someone out on this "bored" isn't exactly mature.

Media, I only saw Saturday's game, but it was by no means the Emily Erickson show. Granted, she played VERY well. The whole team played well, they moved the puck well and created chances. Emily did a very good job on the PK I thought. She picked off those passes for breakaways and one on ones at the blue lines, but she was able to go after those because of very good PK play down low by every GR defensewoman and Hannah Johnson, Natalie Newton, and Dana Gallop at the other forward position. Again, good job by Emily, but her supporting cast needs credit too. Big week ahead now for the Lightning with Hibbing and Duluth.

Apparently she wasn't of full health yet. Now they are hoping for a Tuesday or Thursday return.

It will make it a good hockey game Tuesday. With the Guyer thing though, knees are something you need to make sure are @ 100% in hockey. I guess it just wasn't.
