Moorhead will win because they will score more goals than GR :D

I think moorhead can shut down the GR offense and put the spud show on display

I agree it will be tough, but I am going to go with Rapids 3-2 over The Spuds.

Grand Rapids line up has been banged up all year, namely their top gun Patrick White. If Rapids had their lineup in tact the last two weeks I'd like their chances. Rapids won't start making noise until at least the Edina Classic. Still, with Jensen in goal you can't count Rapids out.

Rapids is in a bit of in injury situation. I know Welliver and White have both been dinged up, and I am unaware of their status. Also, Zach Morse is gone for family reasons this week. So, GR will have to show their depth if they wanna pull of the nice upset.

Moorhead 5, Grand Rapids 1

Rapids does not have any impressive wins. Moorhead does. Rapids fan be prepared for a disappointing result and maybe a disappointing season.

Do I really have to pick one orange & black team over another orange & black team?

Tie.

I don't think so. When Grand Rapids gets healthy they will be just as good as anyone else.

After last night...

I thought this was gonna be a nail-biter early in the season, but after last nights impressive road win by the Spuddies and a tough tie for GR against Brainerd, im rethinking.

I have Moorhead scoring 5 goals.

If White plays, GR scores 3.

If not, GR scores 1.

Either way I think they Spuddies are going to keep rolling Friday and Saturday nights.

Moorhead will get a stiffer test on Saturday. Duluth East has their lineup in tact and their lines playing together all year from what I know. Again, Rapids lines have been messed due to injury and they haven't had Hatrick White in there much at all. Patrick played very sparingly vs. CEC and very very little vs. Brainerd, sat out all the other games. Not sure if Patrick will play Friday. If not Rapids is basically going to be totally without their top line. GR should be able to get back on track in a week or two. When they get their lineup back they can beat anyone in the state.

Rapids lineup might be ready to go Friday, I'm kind of getting mixed reports. Probably going to have to wait until game time to see exactly who will be out there for GR.

Considering the Moorhead/Roseau outcome, I wouldn't say I am over confident with my prediction.

Moorhead is going to be real tough to beat all year.

Plain and simple-Rapids has to come out flyin'.
