I wasn't at the game but I guess it was sloppy. Agreed, not a great showing. I guess one of the goals was one deflection and the other were scrambles in front. Bella...you from the rapids area?

Bella01,
Are you a student? And secondly, were you at the game? From your comment heavily loaded with sarcasm towards a goaltender from Grand Rapids-Greenway, my guess is yes, and no!

well I was at the game.

Bessie played fine.

One goal was tipped by her own defenseman and one was a mad scramble in front where the d failed to clear. Hammann wouldn't want to be blamed for those if she was in, neither would Havel if she were in. I don't remember the third goal. As a person who knows a thing or two about stopping the puck, I thought Havel played satisfactory. The most important thing is she posted the "W."

alright yes i was at the game and yes i agree the goals were sloppy and not havel's fault. I am merely playing off the fact that earlier a comment was made about neither of rapids's goalies having good stats. it's more than stats.

the only thing that matters, and i am willing to bet that coach Patrick Rendle agrees, is winning games. if the team is winning down the stretch, goalie stats mean little. and i know bella01 agrees too.

yes boblee i do agree... i wholeheartly believe that the goalie that the team plays best in front of should play...for the betterment of the team. either way if games are won both goalie will get to go to the state tourny and that's the ultimate goal

Well, our Cloquet game will be tough, so will GRG vs. Bemidji. My thoughts on area teams!
1 Bemidji
2 Cloquet
3 GRG
4 Duluth
5 Hibbing

PHM vs. Cloquet

Post by northhockey »

4-1 Cloquet over PHM
2 goals in the 2nd period 17 seconds apart make it 4-1
That's what good teams do...
No scoring in the 3rd - PHM outshots Cloquet 11-10 in the 3rd
shots ended up 36-24

PHM JV out shoots Cloquet JV 28 - 8 and loses 1-0
