I am wondering what the team for this year is and any other coments throughout the season

The team is a lot like last year's PWA team, with a few returning from last season's Bantam A team...Should be quite and interesting season for this team...They're a team that can be one of the best in the district, or one of the worst...they're going to have to be consistent, and coaching will be a plus for this team again this year, as Coach Anderson will be coaching the Bantam A's this year. He has taken Mankato to State twice in the last 5 years.

Mankato is 4-1 right now, with wins against Worthington (8-1), Marshall (6-1), Hutchinson (5-2), and Minneapolis Washburn (5-3...game has 43 penalties

) There loss was to Redwood Falls, 8-5, with 2 ENG...Game also was filled with penalties..

Weber had a sweet goal, right under the cross-bar in the Washburn game...I don't think there was more than 5 minutes played 5on5...if that..

How did Mankato end up in the Shakopee Tournament? They played Shakopee after Washburn and then either New Prague or Tartan.

Mankato lost to shakopee (heard there was some pretty good homering going on by the refs) but i don't know the score and then they beat New Prague and got third

I see they got beat 8-2. Homering from the refs?? Maybe in a one goal game..I'm guessing it was more D6 refs flexing their muscle showing everyone that their the boss!

Mankato took third...lost 8-2 to Shakopee, but the score doesn't resmeble the game, as it was a closer than that..Mankato was in the box 14 times i believe?...They then beat New Prague 6-5 in the third place game...Mankato seems to be inconsistent, and as I said earlier in the year, they have to be consistent if they want to go anywhere this year..

FYI: Mankato has a rematch with Shakopee on Friday...I guess we will see if their previous game was a fluke or not..

In That shakopee Mankato game, Shakopee was missing 2 of there top 4 players. so we will see what happenes friday

hmmm...do you really think that two guys will amke or break the team's performence? it may help, but i dont think the outcome will depend on those two guys..

Mankato vs. Maple Grove tonight in Bemidji. Mankato lost a ton of kids to HS, but it's time for MG to start getting it together. Let's see what happens at the battle of the titans
