St. Cloud State University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach of Women’s Division I Ice Hockey. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree preferred. Coaching and/or playing experience at the college level is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a multidimensional coaching style, contacts on the recruiting circuit, hockey playing experience, and knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations. Assist head coach in planning, organizing and administrating all aspects of a highly competitive Division I Women’s Ice Hockey program. Responsibilities include but not limited to: coaching, recruiting, video analysis, monitor team academics, assist in fundraising, and public relations. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds. Absolutely outstanding choice. I believe that when she was in HS she was a youth coach with Bloomington U12's when some current outstanding HS players were with that squad... Or maybe I'm getting her confused with someone else...

Quite a player too!!!

The University of North Dakota has an immediate opening for an assistant women’s hockey coach. Description of position: Assist in all phases of coaching and administering a Division I women’s ice hockey program to include but not limited to: recruiting, coaching, scouting, monitoring academic progress and promoting academic success, counseling student-athletes, establishing and maintaining community relations. Teach minimum number of classes in PEXS department. Other duties as assigned. Criteria for selection: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred. Hockey playing experience at Division I collegiate level or higher is preferred. Coaching experience preferred. Must be familiar with NCAA rules and regulations at the Division I level. Proven ability to evaluate and recruit student-athletes preferred. Desire video breakdown and XOs software experience. Experience in training goaltenders is preferred. Gopher Athletics offers 25 NCAA sponsored Division I sports and participates in the Big Ten and WCHA conferences. The Department’s mission reads: To serve as a window to the University in an environment of integrity and equity that enables student-athletes to achieve excellence in their academic and athletic pursuits. Gopher Athletics’ vision is to be the model Division I program in the country and has adopted four core values that guide decisions and behaviors in ongoing efforts to fulfill the mission and vision: a confident and humble pride; integrity in our words and deeds; respect for the dignity of all stakeholders, and loyalty, built on honest and trusting relationships. The position has primary responsibility for assisting in the development of all phases of a NCAA Division I Women’s ice hockey program. This position reports to the head women’s ice hockey coach. U Women's Asst. Coach

Sorry I didn't see that opening already posted. I have also heard since that it is Burgraff who is leaving. Too bad...good guy to have behind your bench I think. Sure are alot of coaching changes / activity occurring in the WCHA this off season. Coaching instability (frequent departures and new hires) bothers me some...and isn't the ideal for a program or stability thereof IMO.

Also read Burgraff may be leaving college hockey altogether.

Warroad has hired David Marvin and Derrick Comstock to co-coach the girls team this year. Derrick was Scott Knutson's assistant last season.
