still no reply, I thought someone would know by now. I think it would have been anounced at the Mr. Hockey banquet. But not sure.
AHA 2002 & 2005 State Champions!

AA coach of the year

Personally I think that Greg Trebil should have one it. He is an amazing coach and in the last 4 years he has 2 championships 1 3rd place and 1 5th place in state. Even when he has players leave tehy do well.
players who left- Tommy Mulligan, Matt Kaiser, Nate Hagemo, Mike Carman, and Jeff Frazee.
Also think of the players that have graduated in the last 4 years- Dan Kronick, Tyler Howells, Kevin Krompotich, Kevin Huck, Jack Hillen, Mike Taylor, and Jimmy kilpatrick.
Even when he loses all these people he gets back to the tourney and impresses people every year.

I am not saying Trebil isn't a good coach but he replaces these players with better players every year. The talent he gets into his program isn't match by any other school except Shattuck. I don't think any private school coach should get this award - a lot of public school coaches have to do twice as much coaching and developing.
Trebil is great - but so are his players.

Maybe ... maybe not ... , but he'll never get it. Coach of the Year is voted for by fellow coaches, and you have to be Section Coach of the Year to qualify for the State award.

I may be off my mark, but I don't see that ever happening! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">
