Centennial's Greg Flynn/Herb Brooks Award

Post by fstop95 »

I couldn't be happier for Greg to receive this new award. Not only is he a quality young man, but he quietly went about playing some of the best defense this tournament has ever seen! I had a few posts going into and throughout this tournament trying to make the case for the lights out D this team plays. Flynn and RJ Anderson make quite a pair. Very fitting that the quiet warrior of the tandem is honored with this inaguaral award=He was born to play hockey-and was meant to be here... Congratulations Greg and the rest of the Cougars on an amazing season!

i work with Greg in the summer and it was definitely cool to see him win that....especially after he got snubbed on the tourney team.

I think the best thing about winning this award is that you get a hug from Herb's daughter.

Yowza!
