I think the freshman defensmen matt crandal is pretty good. I played with him in junior stars a long time ago and he was a pretty good player.

Weak team, weak schedule. Got a gift to make it to tell you the truth. I have nothing against them at all, I just see them not going anywhere. Central Mn, has some pretty weak hockey teams, that happens to be the majority of scc's schedule. Hibbing plays a tough schedule, and are most definetly more than ready for the high competition of the state tournament. If hibbing doesnt beat them, Warroad will finish them off.

SCC didn't have a very tough sch but that doesn't mean they are a weak team. Not many people gave them a chance at the section final vs. Duluth-Marshall. I think SCC is to much for Hibbing to handle. SCC 4- HIB 2. I agree that Warroad may be more than SCC can handle though. 2A all the way!

eastcentralskater, A lot of people gave SCC a chance against DM. The game was at SCC.

I think the game will be very close. SCC does not have the advantage of home ice. SCC is a great team, but they were also lucky that DM did not play their best game. These teams are pretty close, who ever plays a little better will win. These teams have to stay out of the box. Should be a great game, two teams that were not the favorite from their section. I would love to see one of these two teams win state.

I agree that SCC did have an advantage playing in St. Cloud and good teams take advantage of the breaks that they get. What is your prediction for the game? I also want the winner of this game to win state.

It should be very close. I think it will come down to who makes a mistake. Staying out of the box is going to be very important.

SCC-2
Hibbing-1

Could easily go the other way!

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub33.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUser ... mb>MKMB at: 3/9/04 9:37 pm
