I thought Joe Mauer already had the title of "Baby Jesus"? Maybe he'd be willing to hand it over to Ness.

http://www.bramptonsports.ca/pix/ccuthbert.jpg They used to bring him in. Chris Cuthbert would have been perfect for this year. Doing the championship game in 1990 means he is experienced at saying, "RAMS WIN!". Seriously, I would rather listen to Henry Boucha in the Nite Hawk than Phil H...

Woog is horrible! Every once in awhile he'll make a decent point, but half the time he has no idea what's going. Housley is just plain bad. Darby is actually pretty good. Nanne seems better this year than he has in the past. Get Mike Greenlay & Dan Terhaar. Or someone from HNIC: Don Cherry, Ron ...

I would also have to vote for Kittson Central. It has been one of their better seasons in recent history. Sure you can say they didn't beat anybody but Park Rapids, but 17 wins is 17 wins. For a program that generally finishes .500, a 17-9 record for them is great season. They lost out to EGF 4-2 in...

EGF verses KC

What are your thoughts on the game?
EGF blew KC's door off earlier this year, but I think the game will be pretty close.

Section 8A Seedings

Nice to see my old squad get the win last night. Keep up the good work KC. I had a feeling they could pull it off. Way to throw a wrench in the section seedings....makes the next couple weeks pretty interesting. 8)

Re: Update on KC Compressors

Hallock Arena needs new compressor - from the Kittson County Enterprise 3/14/07 Working at half capacity for most of the season, the compressors at the Hallock Ice Arena are tired. Not surprising, since they've lasted for over 25 years. Built about 1975, the arena has seen little update and change. ...

Roseau schools Woodbury By Kevin Fee, Herald Staff Writer Published Friday, March 09, 2007 ST. PAUL Roseau wore its throwback jerseys from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Woodbury coach Wes Bolin said the Roseau team he saw Thursday showed the same passing, skating and checking skills as the Rams he...

RE:

The rink in Emerson, Manitoba is the closest (about 20 miles away). It's kind of a dump, but it might work for the time being. The arena board would like the city of Hallock to in chip in $50,000 and the school to also chip in $50,000 and they would pick up the remaining $200,000 tab. For this size ...

Bolin has coached against Roseau before...& won....

This is ancient history but Bolin has faced Roseau, before back in the mid 80's when he coached in Hallock (now Kittson Central). In the 84/85 Section 8 playoffs, the Bolin coached Bears avenged their early season losses (7-2 & 4-2) to the Rams with a 6-4 win over the defending Section 8 champio...

KC Compressors

Heard a rumor that the compressors @ the rink in Hallock are shot and that they even had to shut down the rink early this year. The cost to replace them will be $300,000 and they will need to be replaced before next season. Not sure how this will effect next season or where they'll get the money tha...

WHO TO WATCH Keep an eye on these 25 hotshot kids... December 25.2006 The top five scorers from the 2006 WJC that was held in British Columbia have all moved on to the pro ranks, but there will still be loads of talent on display in Sweden when this year's WJC tournament gets underway. Moved on to p...
