Do what you think is best and pay no mind to what others say or think. This is Minnesota! the last thing that most poeple want is for your kid to step out and try and be better than the next guy. You can say all you want about the Brian Bochenskis, but can you name 5 more kids that played B hockey a...

Eric Johnson in the Bloomington magazine credited Bernie Mcbain and Denny Connelly with his success. He...

He had a chance to talk with a Gopher player that just got back into their line up and ask what he should do to be a Gopher some day. He told him that always skated as much as he could over the summer and skipped...

thinkb4engaging .... You must be a parent of a Blades player. In fairness, the Machine teams are never invited to the Brick tournament in Edmonton because the Blades have an agreement with the Brick that they are the only team from Minnesota to play in the tournament. The tournament orangizers have...

I wonder if any of us knows enough about the Machine teams. I first saw them in June and I thought they were amazing. I have since seen them play six games. The last game I saw was when the 96 Machine team beat the 95 Predators in the championship of a 95 tournament. Everything about these teams is ...

We have heard about the Machine and went to watch both 96 and the 97 teams play in the Easton Cup this past weekend at the Super Rink. They were very fun to watch. Both teams pass the puck better than any team I have ever seen at any level. It was amazing. The 96 team was playing at the 95 level and...

The worst arena was the old Breck arena. It used to be called the Golden Valley Ice Center. I had a frost heave on the south end that was huge, No dehumidification at all so it rained inside the rink and only two tiny locker rooms. It was a short rink only 185 feet long and when it rained out side t...
