My son has attended this camp in Duluth for several years and really enjoys it. Details can be found at http://www.mitchkorn.com/p...

I heard of one happening up in Warroad and Roaseau this weekend. I don't know any specifics, but I believe those two teams, Lake of the Woods, and some smaller suburban schools near the cities are participating. Anyone got anything on this? -------------- There were several teams that were part of ...

Of any stat you could use, goals against average is the worst barometer to use when evaluating a goalie. It's about save percentage, quality of shots faced, odd man rushes, scoring chances, rebound control, etc. Is someone that faces 30 quality shots a game and has a GAA of 3.0 worse than a goalie t...

So we have yet another Johnson bashing thread. I'll provide an opposite viewpoint once again on what I've seen from the Johnson Bantam A team. My son has played this team the past 4 years and we have never had any issues at all. We played in the Johnson Governor's Cup a couple years back and were tr...

My son has played against Johnson in tournaments the last 3 years at the Bantam A, Bantam A and PeeWee A levels respectively. So this would mean it was the same group of parents or one parent that was involved in this event and the same group that other’s are bashing. I have to say that we have neve...

I'll offer a different point of view. Our association has not allowed parents at tryouts since we've been a part of it. This year will be my son's 6th and final tryout for youth hockey. I've never watched any of his tryouts. It's worked out very well. No parent disagreements on who should have made ...
