Sorry, its just the facts. they are not dirty how are they dirty cayse they beat teams by working hard and going to the corners unlike the others schools that are scared to hit and dont go in the corne...

Any updates on where the team is going to end up? I see the coaching staff has already been broken up, so who is going to take over the franchise?

wbmd- Verbally commiting is like saying you will play for them, unless you have a couple more colleges ask. You can decide saying that he is playing for the gophers in 2011 is kind of crazy at this point. Knowing how Mark is such a good player he will get more colleges intrested in him. Which means...

Colleges, especially quality ones like the U of M, rarely take goaltenders straight out of high school. They want them to develop more and prove themselves at a high level of play with a longer season. Look for someone out of the USHL most likely. I would guess Joe Howe as scholarship and maybe NAHL...

I'd love to hear your rationale for your statement. All of the players at the tryouts are good hockey players. I was just stating that the team is pretty much picked previously to the tryout. So even if the best player there has a poor tryout, he will probably get picked becuase of his past record....

The Chicago Showcase was also going on that weekend, so players from Team Minnesota and other states were not able to attend Xposure either.

Selects is all about politics. They pick the kids on how well they performed during the season and in the past. Not so much on the actual tryout and how many goals they let up. So the tryout often doesn't matter a whole lot.

Wisconsin's team was good and the game was pretty even. So even though Wisconsin had players with college commitments, MN did not and still played right with them. Good finish boys.

By the way, the cost was only $750, hockeyxprt1

Each team plays a game before going to Chicago. So MN's first game is on Monday (April 14th) against North Dakota. (Wakota, South St. Paul @ 1:30) Then they will head out to Chicago and I believe play New York, Illinois, and Pittsburg. Should be some great hockey and lets hope the boys win it all fo...

I'm sure Hollerud still thinks he deserves the spot...as for him "supporting" Harper I don't think that happened at all but thats just my opinion. The Blaine goalie situation has been awkward the past couple of years. I wonder if Hollerud's parents remember when he stepped into the starti...

Re: Elite league tested.

I watched this kid play in the elite league. He was the goalie for the NW. The only goalie who performed worse then him was the other goalie on the NW team, the kid from White Bear. I have heard they might not be asked back to the league after their horrible performances. I remember hearing that hi...

Anyone of these O.T. thrillers
-Edina vs. Burnsville (Section 2AA final)
-BSM vs. Minnetonka (Section 6AA final)
and of course the best in my mind was
Edina vs. BSM (State Semis)
About 20,000 people there standing and making noise.
