Yeah well ya know what Penalty Shot (great moniker, for a so-called non-whiner), this is a one-sided post...and the injured player is in serious pain and could be out for season, so here goes. Wow...where to start with this one??? First off, I’m glad to see one DE fan is willing to acknowledge the p...

Except for Stillwater!? Papa Bergundy, Stillwater has three losses this year. They lost to Roseville who is on top of the SEC at 3-0, Woodbury who is a top 10 team and the 4-0 score did not resemble how close the game was, and Rogers which was a dissapointment. Also, they tied Hastings who b...

Let me just say this. Housley hasn't won a big game since he came to Stillwater, so what in the world would give anyone reason to believe this game would be any different? I call it the "Wooger Syndrome" Woog-Housley-Welch (Hastings) all connected to SSP and None has ever won a big game i...

Re: WBL vs Stillwater

Who will win Saturday night at Aldrich? The Ponies are 5-3-1, having just taken the consolation prize at the Schwan's Cup Bronze. The Bears are 6-5-1, beating Centennial, then tying Holy Angels in regulation, only to come up short against Minnetonka in the Schwan's Gold Division. My guess is that i...

Duluth East should be much higher top 3. BSM should also be in the top 10. The same BSM team who got drubbed by Stillwater 6-2? Does that make Stillwater a top five team then? I reserve the right to answer that question until after tonight's Woodbury @ Stillwater game. YIKES! Ponies l...

How would the Woodbury game possibly put them close to the top 5? They are #10 on PS2, #15 on follow the puck, and not ranked on my FOX hockey. Beating Woodbury could show they are possibly a top 15 or 20 team. Umm, perhaps the sarcasm was not obvious enough. I guess your the only one who sa...

It would have been significant if the Ponies would have beat GR and Benilde LAST YEAR, both of them are way down this year. I think we saw the real Ponies when they played Roseville and Hastings so I'll go with the Royals 3-1. Nightman probably has the right take on this one. However, if the Ponies...

BSM was very undisciplined took a few stupid penalties. Stillwater only converted on 1 of 6, BSM was 0-2. Shots were even at about 18-20 each.

Destroyed?

Benilde is a very good team but people shouldn't doubt Stillwater. They destroyed Hermantown 5-1. Also, they tied Cathedral, Marshall and Mahtomedi and my source says they should have been 3-1-0 but they had 3 games in a 6 hour span. BSM may be slightly overrated and Stillwater gets little, if any,...

BUY THE S17 ONLY IF YOU ARE COMPLETELY BRAIN-DEAD

Durability is an absolute joke. Bought it and broke it within 45 min of hitting the ice. It broke where everyone has been breaking them (approx 10" above the blade on the shaft). Easton took over 5 wks to replace it because they were back-ordered...DUH, because they all break if you look at the...

South 2010 Team Coach is Ricky Saintey.

Cost was $15 for adult tourney pass. I believe single game adult was $6.

It appears that it goes by Grad year, with some younger players filling in where needed. The 2010 teams appear to be younger '91's, but mostly 92's. Basically sophmores & freshman.

I can guarantee Jason Berg @ FHIT would not recommend any player for the USHL Draft List unless they deserved it. As I recall, the actual injury/collision occured a few minutes prior to the first MV goal. I didn't see the initial contact but it occured in the neutral zone, just about on the MV blue-line. He hobbled over to the bench where the trainer checked-out the injury. A minute or two later MV scored and t...

It was Alex Chulel #28. The last I had heard, through the grapevine, is that it was a hyper-extended knee and that he would be fine. Hopefully he will make a speedy recovery. I thought it was more like 9-1 on the penalty calls, because the Ponies had 7 after the 2nd period. I thought they deserved 5 of the 9 but you know how that works. At any rate, there were definitely a few calls missed on CEC that would have made it seem a little less one-way. Ponies did fine on PK b...

Stillwater could definitely pull this one off if they work like they did vs WBL, Roseville, and Woodbury (even though they lost @ Bielenberg). I'll say Ponies 4-3. Hopefully they have something left over for DE tomorrow night, but need to hyper-focus on CEC first.
