EP always manages to make a run at the conference (winning Lake last year), or in sections. They will be one of the best defensive teams in the state next year. Leddy and Rush seem to get the hype but not much said about Soderberg, a senior who has been developing steadily and made the alternate lis...

Those kids are late developers. They might not have hair under their arms yet. Dad is around 5'10" and mom is average height. Odds are they will be around 5' 10" (help me out Drs.). Those kids are in the 1 percentile in skills. See the ice and understand hockey very well. Nobody gets a cl...

Re: Dave Meyer is a stud

Alls i know is that Eden Prairie has got Dave Meyer. That right there pretty much guarantees the conference championship for the eagles. This kid had six empty net goals last year along with eight goals with an actual goalie in net. The EP student section better start practicing "Mr.Hockey&quo...

Who cares where they come from. If the tournament provides good competition, (which it sounds like it does) the MN participants will benefit from it. MN pride is great, but there's a large hockey world out there beyond our borders.

Definately get professional advice. Repost your home town area. There are resources such as the doctor listed above that could be suggested. Good to get some guidance on this one.

Gardiner switched to D after the regular season. He played extremely well in the Gopher Festival and from the Natl.17 posting, impressed the evaluators. He looks to be a great offensive defenseman. Great with the puck - smart player.

Re: post 7881

Very strong, very impressive list. Congrats to the selected group of 16's... What might be even more impressive is the list of 17's who completely dominated the 16's on the final day of 51's 13-0 8-2 and 9-3 The 90's are incredible deep and talented. Likely why they still, as of Sunday night 9PM, h...

Morgan=Overrated He couldn't even take over the starting job at Rosemount, ended up sharing some playing time with the other goalie. Just isn't as good as people think. There are plenty other to-be-senior goalies that are much better, including a couple in the Lake. Morgan overrated?? yeah making t...

Answer has to be "depends." What are your means and motivations, and what's the quality of the school in your district? Knuckle (or chuckle) heads who think "hockey-is-life" will likely write this off, but go back to any of the posts that cite the %'age of players who make the sp...

For all of you drooling over Budish, keep this in mind - Zach is one hell of an an athlete, not to mention a great kid - hockey is is not his only sport. Do you think there is a reason he's not "committed" besides the fact that he's still a sophomore? He plays football VERY well. With his ...
