No. Reedy's live in the Lakeville South school area. Played mites in Lakeville and then Fire, until his brother open enrolled to PL in 9th grade and then he open enrolled as well. Jack Olsen has played forward and defense throughout his youth hockey. First year bantams and the majority of this seaso...

Novak
Novak played varsity at St Thomas last year. He is from River Falls and played for the Fire before that.

Farmington vs Hastings
Farmington 4
Hastings 0
Hastings worked really hard, but Farmington was just the better team. Farmington suffered a tough loss as one of their D broke his femur in the third period. Best luck with the recovery.

Century?
When I left with 8 minutes to go it was 8-1 South. Shots were about 35-11 or so. Century couldn't even get the puck out of their own end. Not even in the same league. I don't care which goalie is in net. Century's "D" gave their goalie no support. I hope it was just an off night for Centur...

Lakeville U12A
Lakeville has never had a North and South U12 A team, but this is the last year of having a combined team. Next year it will be split. The numbers make it difficult to split and be competitive, but the U10's are both above average teams.

Top 97's
UND, I think Rosemount has a very good squirt team, but the topic is top '97's. One of the kids you listed is a '98 and the other is OK, but not one of the top 97's. By top, I mean top 40 kids. There are better 97's on your own team. Most of the best '97's are playing Peewee A this year. There are o...

Edina Hockey Blah Blah Blah
How many more posts can we have about Edina hockey this year? It is obvious they have a great program that developes 5 to 6 great kids every year. That is it, 5 to 6 great kids. The benefit is not talent, it is numbers and extra cash to invest in youth hockey. They could easily support two A teams a...

10th Graders
I think 10th Grade is a great time to start looking at girls as far as D1 talent goes. Girls are not like boys, most of them are done growing and developing physically by 10th grade. This is why you see so many 7th and 8th graders that are contributing at the High School level. That is pretty rare f...

U10 A
I haven't watched much U10 this year, but I just watched Lakeville South beat Edina pretty easily in a 3 on 3 scrimmage. I know it is not the same thing, but Lakeville South had it in Edina's end most of the game. Edina did have a couple of very nice players and they have two girls playing boys that...

MM 4 Teams
adding additional teams is all about the money. I have heard they are losing in the range of $25,000 per month and they may not be able to do any better then that. I don't think the shareholders can be happy with that. Like one of the prior posts, the upfront costs are only $1500 to $1900. It is the...

MM Development
As I wrote earlier in this post, the decisions that families make are that families decisions, no one elses. This will be good for some kids and not so good for others. But I know one thing for sure. Do not think that Mr. McBain will be working to help develop your child. If you are associated with ...

Mite Elite Leauge
Can you say "Show me the money". That is all this is about, nothing else. A privately run rink has to be filled all year long to make any money. They don't have an association to buy ice, so why not create a mite league. $90,000 for the winter can pay a lot of bills. As far as parents or k...

Waylon, Just to fill you in, the best kids in Edina were asked to play. It just happens that the best kids in Edina play with their squirt A coach in the Super Series the same weekend. Also, it happens that large group of kids will not be able to play this year due to the fact that some AAA coach sc...
