Why is Blake not playing Bantam A level? Just trying to understand that if a private has the numbers to field a Bantam team-why play B?

Centennial=played their hearts out...extremely talented group of young men. Very unfortunate as it looked like they had lack of quality coaching.

hockeyinmn99,

Let's not forget Centennial also made the trip to State in 2005-06. Should be a good game against Coon Rapids on Friday.

It gets a bit annoying when all people hear (or see for this matter is) arrogance, sarcasm and belittling...my dad can beat your dad up attitude! It's ridiculous at times...a goal that 3 refs did not see at a High School Section game-come on-let me guess...the Irondale parents saw it. Give the refs ...

[quote="ontheroadagain"]You are correct 4real, however it was truly a varsity cut down to 3 lines V and 1st line JV. The only game played entirely by the V was a 1-0 win over Wayzata. The starting D and Goalie played the 1st part of Irondale game and the other 2 goalies split the time betw...

Titliest

I do remember Centennial beating Hopkins earlier this season...its clearly evident that there are some recent illnesses and/or injuries effecting this team. They go the entire season 11-1 and in one week lose 3 games...over rated? That would be a little presumptious!

bad outing??

Titleist, if u r referring to Centennial...I wouldn't discredit them quite yet...the word around the Centennial arena is that Centennial has been hit by the "bug"...one player just coming off Mono...a few bad outings in one week does not disqualify their record. 11-1 in regular play...

spr air 210-what kind of goalie is Carpenter from FL? Any stats on her?? If she is any good whats so every-she will fit in nicely at Centennial. What they don't need is another "average" goalie.

There is a fine line between giving your kid the opportunity to participate in any program you may wish them to participate in and burn out. If a younger player loves the game and does not complain about going to camps, playing AAA, ect then it is the parents responsibility to realize that too much ...

Based upon the teams they either beat or tied-they proved they should of been a playoff team. If you followed the D10 standings-Centennial Black was one of 4-5 teams "on the bubble" at the end of the year. (last 4 games) Was this due to FFP's? Let's not get into that whole can of worms. Ce...

I'm confused. I went on the Quick Skills Camp website. Is this a girls development camp or a skills festival? If it is a festival, does the Quick Skills Camp offer "just a camp" for girls to work on their skills? Help me-I'm going crazy researching camps/tournaments! J/K!

I did not hear of any exempt players last year. It is my understanding that all participants have to be recommended by their HS coach to even tryout. Tryouts are not a "piece of cake." There are many (hundreds) of talented skaters who try out.
