Yeah.. and what about Matt Bauer??? (On D11) He's listed as a Duluth East Bantam A but has NEVER played Bantam A's.. Last year was on East Bantam B team!

It also doesn't hurt that the 91/92 coaches are the Duluth East Bantam A coaches. I'm glad they were able to invite who they wanted.

I think this may be a tough weekend for some as many qualified players have already committed to play in the USHL Central Scouting "Prospects Tourney" the very next weekend in Chicago.

These patches are the dumbest idea ever. When kids go after a player they are looking at the puck not at the top of jersey to see if they can see a patch or not. The Ice Cup has a 92 level again this year. The wekeend is Aug 17-19 in Duluth. Next weekend is the younger players.

Duluth East defeated Hermantown 3 - 0. Good back and forth game.

I will have to say the Tommy Williams tournament in Duluth. Top 10 ten teams in state. 17 minute periods and 5 game guarantee.

East beat Woodbury 4 - 0 for 3rd place. Bloomington had a good weekend. They played very well against East. Bloomington captialized with 3 goals on 3 big mistakes by East. East outshot Bloomington but struggled to score. Fun game to watch!

Hermantown was ahead of Duluth East in district play due to HEP points. I also do not agree with the HEP points. In USA games a player get 5 penalties then ejected. If they have that rule a player or team should be able to use those penalties like a basketball player uses his 5 fouls.
