Northland, just wondering but will you ever think Crookston can win a game? No matter who the team... you always put Crookston as the loser? Have you got reasons, because from what I've seen they are very talented. Just a thought. :?

Crookston doesn't get to pick and choose their Varsity players either. For loosing 2 goalies this year and using a second year goalie in the game last night I'd say they proved something in the game, Marlee Wheelhouse WAS on fire, but the win had to come from everyone on the team stepping it up. As ...

i agree. i've even seen refs call a penalty on a girl who stopped at the blue line to avoid being offsides, and the oppent ran into her and fell, no shoulders thrown, no sticks, just someone not looking and running into the player at the blue line... all about strength and stance. Also i have notice...

It pretty much was an upset. i dont know if c-town deserved to win. 5-4 in OT. Wheelhouse final goal. Crookston will have to look for the things they need to fix, or they wont go too much further. ](*,)

Hannah Solheim, Erika Wheelhouse, and Lexy Wangen, the three switch off throughout the game and they work very well with eachother, very smart players.

Marlee Wheelhouse show eh? Gotta give more props to the rest of the team also, like the defence, for doing a great job and keeping shots low. Final shots were 21 (C-town) 17 (Bemidji). Many girls had chances to score, some true talent showed through tonight that we dont usually see from all the girl...

Crookstons first line, Marlee Wheelhouse (13 goals), Danielle Persson (9), and Janessa Deboer (4). Like Bemidji Crookston will have two returning girls who work very well together.

Not Crookstons best game, could have done some things better but they pulled it off..... and the "Wheels" continue to roll.

Now... any predictions for Crookston vs. Bemidji?
