Trust me Syd, Little Falls isn't putting six goals in on Wednesday night. Hermantown hasn't given up 6 goals all year, and that is agaisnt some MUCH better teams then Little Falls. Cloquet managed 0, Duluth Marshall managed 1. They average giving up 1.6 goals per game, so 6 might be streching it a b...

Its just fine in this thread. We are talking about depth JLS 81, I can assure you I wont be attending either teams practices, so comparing how they did against another team is going to have to do, and is completely relevant to this topic. As far as moving to 7AA I would love to see Hermantown go AA ...

The game really did change when TJ was gone. It really seemed as though Hermantown was deeper down the stretch though. TJ being gone hurt, but Hermantown began to gain controll in the game and I can't imagine that he would have stopped Hermantown from outshooting them 23-6 in the third and o.t. He i...

Somebody said Hermantowns depth wont compare to Hibbings. After seeing Hermantown completely dominate the third period and overtime against Cloquet, I don't think Hibbing can match up with them. I don't know if Hibbing has seen a team like Hermantown this year. From top to bottom there is no weak sp...

I honestly wouldnt be shocked if this game was a blowout. In the 4 games Hibbings been tested this year they are 0-3-1. Roseau beat them up pretty good 6-0. BSM was too much for them, as was Cloquet. They tied a Rapids team that has laid an egg in every big game they've been in this year. The rest o...

Hopefully something helpfull to keep in mind for everyone is that I quit for several months one year. I said it probably wont kill me to have one every once in a while. Maybe one or two a week?...

Constantly setting up your teammates is such an important asset to a team, because it takes a special kind of player to do so. But what I am saying about a pure goal scorer is that they are going to be the ones that tie the game with an extra attacker then get the game winner in o.t. To me that is s...

There is nothing better then a pure goal scorer. Someone who can score when you need it most. Yes, somebody needs to feed them the puck, but a pure goal scorer will win you so many games. You can feed your teammates all game long, but unless there is someone on the other end to bury that puck, your ...

Its been mentioned before after the tournament, and i've always thought it would be a great idea. What would be wrong with the two champions agreeing to play each other the friday or saturday after the tournament. Granted AA would have everything to loose in a game like this, but if little ol Warroa...

Ok boblee, I couldn't agree with you more. Playing the big guns will get you prepared to play either them, or another top class team. That we agree on. But to be honest I don't think you've read anything I've said besides my poll question. You ask what the benefit of a weak schedule is. Then you tal...

boblee, Seriously do you need to post a stupid responce like that. It is worthless to see something like that on a discussion that everyone else seems to enjoy discussing. Maybe my poll question was not worded how it needed to be, which is evident with the results. Everyone seems to be able to see b...

I should mention that I am not saying an easy schedule like Moose Lake or Ely's schedule either. I understand they need to have an easier schedule or it would be pointless to even have a team. What people consider an easy schedule for Duluth Marshall and Hermantown would result in many 10-0 games fo...

Tough Schedule vs. Easy Schedule
A lot has been said about teams that choose to stay local for the most part and play a "weaker" schedule, then to travel around the state in search of the best competition. Just wondering what everybody thinks. Last year Duluth East traveled a lot to play the best teams in the state to bet...
