This is not the first playoff win for DC. They beat JM in this very same game last year. I believe they also won the play in game two years ago and played century in the quarters. I thought JM won the game last year. Do you have a link to last years brackets? No but I know they won as they had to L...

I agree with Gopher Blog about Wheeler playing center instead of the wing. He's at his best when he can just go up and down the wing and use his size to protect the puck. He isn't NHL ready yet but I bet he goes plays the wing in the minors and then makes the jump.

Besides being so close to a state title and coming up short another reason for all the tears and looks of sadness another reason athletes cry is that many of them just played there last meaningful game ever. My senior year we had no chance to win a state title but I still couldn't fight back the tea...

Wouldn't it be great to see a rematch in the State semis. Assuming that they are seeded 2 and 3. Lot of games before then and as last year proved being seeded in the top four doesn't mean much.

For the record, the calls did favor the home team because there were more penalties against the visitors.[/quote] I wasn't at the game but just because Grand Rapids had more penalties called against them doesn't mean the ref favored Roseau. Roseau being the more talented team (which I don't think an...

Back in the late 80's and 90's there was this coach called the Wooger, he always had the states best and they played as a single player not as a team. Having too many all stars can be bad. When the team plays as one they will succeed. Okposo leaving will open the door for someone else to step in and...

they've got to be in everybody's top 5. Everybody might be a little strong, stick with rational people and I'll agree. For now. I don't understand why they have such a weak schedule though. I am going to guess that Roseau's "weak" schedule as you put it has to do with geography more than ...

Many people aren't giving the seniors from Roseau enough credit when they say they lost nothing. Weston, Voll Carr and company provided tons of leadership for the young team. Weston was huge in the playoffs scoring the only goal in the section finals and leading the team in scoring in the State tour...

I am pretty sure they are illegal in MN football because they give you an advantage over the opposition if they can't see your eyes. I would imagine that hockey would have the same rules.

Multiple classes provides more athletes with the oppurtunity to play in the State tournament. I never played in the hockey tournament but I did play i...
