Why don't the private school kids ever chant "tax payer's money" or "everybody's money" back to the public schools when they say "daddy's money"? Or is that not offensive? I'd think people would be happy these kids, or their families rather, pay for their own schooling...

Duluth Marshall 14-10-1 Had 6 easy games, that would make them 8-10-1 without those games. Virginia 20-5-0 10 easy games. 10-5-0 Rankings, strength of schedule... They mean nothing. What counts is winning and winning at the end of the year. Virginia is winning, they can win the state. Not the favor...

Moorhead has the 3rd hardest schedual, and constantly make trips down to the cities This is the biggest debate. Does a tougher schedule help, and give a team more success? I would think so, but it could destroy team's confidence, and cause teams to try less things, and become more one-dimensional. ...

Year after year hermantown is always ranked high because they win a lot of games, i feel that they play a couple good teams and a lot of bad ones... so in my mind i feel that they are overrated. If they play a tough schedule it would prepare them better for playoffs. lol wow dont hear that every ye...

No, they will not win state. They may be able to get a first round upset, but even that is pushing it. I just posted on another topic about strength of schedule. Virginia may be content with their record, and judgement based on who they played. But who they played is the problem. They are going to g...

What's really interesting is how many cities teams occupy the top rankings. In fact, outside of East (9), and Duluth Marshall (35, 2nd in A), there really are no other teams that have respectable schedules. These two are the only teams in the north that consistently make trips down to the cities to ...

Big pressure for Marshall now 5x4....20 seconds left. 57 seconds left on the Topper power play Lee Well, I got to say, it was a great game. I'm happy I went (since this was only my second Marshall game this year). It's harder's not living around here anymore. But anyway, got to say I was shocked. I...

Who looked the best: It's hard to say. Marshall was given tough games by both Bemidji and Andover. I think Marshall played well enough through two periods to beat AHA, but was holding on in the third period. Ironically, Marshall got 3 goals in the third period. I think AHA moved the puck better then...

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe that tournament took place last weekend.
There was a tournament last weekend in which Team Wisconsin beat DM in the championship 2 to 1.

I never claimed the right answer is always East. You're seeing stuff which isn't there. Sometimes it good to see the other side of the story. That's the beauty of forums. Anyway............... Please, we don't need to fight about this. I know we all have pride in our favorite team, but I think this...

Once again, there is nothing wrong with DE not playing DM. But answer this question. Should they see themselves as the best in the area (and walk around with arrogance)? My answer is no. Wrong, Skippy. Move up and play in Class AA or shut up that is a good point (seriously). But STA doesn't have to ...

in fact, this would then FORCE Duluth East to play Marshall as everyone knows the story behind that No, Marshall would rather play teams like STA and Benilde that actually MAKE IT to state. East would be a weak addition to their schedule   ...........actually East would be a fun game, and...

also, since you guys beat us 8-2 in the regular season, beating you guys in the championship game was even more sweet. classic example of the STA blatant arrogance. its easy to win a game when you have the refs on your side. Minnetonka got away with a lot and they called everything marshall did. I will say Tonka has a good PP. 9 out of 10 times this would not have happended??
