Earls
Im not arguing that he isnt a goon. He is. But the kid is 6'4 225. With all that power coming at you he is bound to hurt some kids, but I also think that some of times when he lays kids out it may look worse then it is. The kid is strong and when he gets all his power into his hits it may result in ...

big hit by earls
Did anyone see the hit he had on #9 on orono. It was right in front of the HF bench and it was clean. Biggest hit I have seen all year. #9 did not get up, he crawled to to the penalty box and just layed there. It was huge. Then the rest of the game orono was just going after earls. But as we all kno...

Captains or Captnots
The captains are Schwartz and Raser. Raser could be good but he still has to learn to respect everyone. He doesnt respect people so people dont respect him. From what I heard last year he was off and on as being a good leader. He would either be in a good mood or just pissed off and not a team playe...

They have Dusty Hanson, a junior from Waconia. He's small but can be decent. He played like 2 periods varsity last year, I dont know why but he did. And then they have a Laprade kid from Chaska who is a freshmen. Dont know much except he is tall. I think theyll be fine in the goalie area. No experie...

Holy Family vs. Mound ROUND 3
Mound won 7-1 early in the season and then HF came back and upset them 2-1 at Mound.
Who wins,
Mound has never lost at HF's home rink and HF has never lost at Mounds home rink. This ones at Mound.

I think george blanda will agree with me when I say that Smothers is a good goalie. He was at the SCC game, he saw what he can do. When you say he didnt step it up during these big games, that may be true. But the second time around for Mound he made 30 some saves and only allowed 1 goal in the vict...

Very true, 4 atleast, if not more. I knoe your a goalie and from a goalie's perspective does it just suck after letting in the first two shots? What does that do to you and how do you over come it? I really think he did a good job early in the second. He had a two pretty nice glove saves but then al...

Yeah about this, 11 of the 18 varsity skaters are from Waconia. It's sad that the Waconia doesnt want to put up a hockey rink, there basically a basketball town and always will be. Maybe in the next couple of years they will get a rink. IDK. There youth programs are growing in size and I think they ...

Smothers is a good goalie, but he did not play very well last night, I think when you let in the first two shots of the game your confidence level goes way down and I think thats what happened with him. The score was 4-3 at one point in the second, it wasnt a bad game at all except for that smothers...

Is Nate Schmidt playing in this game, and is Bob Durant playing in this game. If so HF will have trouble shutting down SCC's offensive forces. But without them HF will do just fine. Dont get me wrong SCC is a great team with those two and without those two. But it hurts a teams flow when there star ...

Does anybody know why the Mound goal towards the end of the game was waived off? The shot that you were talking was not in. Like the guy said earlier, it hit two posts and then the net was hit off. It really looked like it was a goal and it sure sounded like a goal but the when the puck hit both of...

WOW, what a game to watch, all the way down to the last few seconds. 1st period. Mound came out flying and peppered Smothers with 15 shots, scored one goal to go up 1-0. HF had 6 total shots in the first and it looked as if it was going to be another whooping. No real chances for HF but several good...

Yeah SCC won by three but if you were at the game it would have showed you that the score was not an indicator of how even the play was. And yeah Hess was dominant in this game but you really cant blame HF's goalie for atleast 4 of the 6 goals. All six goals were in the crease or 5 feet out of the c...

Game was tied after 1, 1to1. In the second SCC scored two early goals to go up two. But HF came back solid and scored two more to tie it up. Minutes later SCC scores to make it 4-3 and then again to make it 5-3. I really felt bad for smothers because he was not getting any help from his D. Four of t...

Bauerhock, you are an idiot, Smothers is one of the top tenders in the state. He has been starting since he was a sophomore. He also has some pretty impressive numbers this year as well. I have heard he is going to play juniors some where next year. I am probably guessing you are judging him after t...

You guys and your cockyness, so what if Earls hits kids hard, its part of the game is it not? And also when he hit that little kid tonight he really didnt have a choice, the kid kind of turned his back at the last second. The kids good and I am sure all of you would want him on your team if you coul...

Leading Candidates for HF would have to be Tyler Erickson 23 points Derek Earls 17 points Chris Leivermann 21 points Robbie Smothers, 1.43 GAA. 3 shutouts, .933 SP and has only allowed 20 goals in 12 games this season. But Erickson and Smothers for sure are going to be All Conference. I dont think t...

Holy Family has a great 9 game winning streak going and I dont care what you say about how they have not played anyone, a 9 game win streak in any sport vs any teams is impressive. Lourdes lost a great player in Amundson and there coming off a loss to I'Falls. Holy Family is on a tear right now and ...
